1. Repeal New Oregon Gun Control Confiscation Bill

A recent Oregon bill has been signed into action that would allow for firearm confiscation of people who are deemed unfit to own them. There is no doubt in my mind that this new power will be abused to disarm innocent people. This is another step in the direction of tyranny. This is unconstitutional. Without our 2nd Amendment Right we have no rights.

2. Cancel 7 Days to Die Update

My friend is anticipating the 7 days update. I am afraid that they will not take care of their pets when the update releases. The pets will probably die. So please sign this petition if your don't want animals to die and go to hell.

3. Firearm violence is an important health problem, and most physicians agree that they should help prevent that violence,

A visit to the doctor’s office often comes with the sort of personal questions not asked anywhere else except, perhaps, the depths of an online dating quiz: How many sexual partners do you have? How much booze do you consume in a typical week? Do you smoke? Do you wear a helmet when you ride a bike?

Is there a gun in your house?

Help us make sure that that TX law makers know that we care about gun violence. Any and all means of prevention is a step in the right direction and should undermine a physician's ability to take part in public health concerns.

4. Sign The Petition: Protect Our 2nd Amendment Right To Bear Arms

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Year after year, The People's Right to Bear Arms enshrined in the 2nd Amendment finds itself under attack from both gun control advocates and politicians. These attacks on our God-given Right to Bear Arms often masquerade as increasingly complex background check provisions necessary to protect the public from violent criminals when in fact they are taxation gimmicks and firearm registration schemes designed to allow the Federal Government to maintain a database of gun owners.

Simple semi-automatic firearms are vilified as being “assault weapons” because of their outward appearance and magazine capacity. This absurd characterization of so-called assault weapons not only leads to them eventually being banned, but also emboldens gun control proponents to push for further needless and costly regulation and unconstitutional infringement on our 2nd Amendment rights.

A 2015 report titled “Sources of guns to dangerous people: What we learn by asking them” conducted by experts from Duke University, NBER, University of Chicago Crime Lab and the University of Chicago have revealed that gun shops and gun shows are not the source for guns used by criminals, stated as such in the report’s conclusion: "it is rare for offenders to buy from licensed dealers, and also rare for them to steal their guns. Rather, the predominant sources of guns to offenders are family, acquaintances, fellow gang members — which is to say, members of their social network". Why then do we see this constant attack on our 2nd Amendment Rights in the form of elaborate background check requirements for private firearm transfers at gun shows, restrictions on “assault weapons” and even restricting certain types of ammunition?

If all of the previous was not ridiculous enough, it gets even worse. The same politicians who are tireless advocates for gun control have, since 1992, blocked the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives from spending ANY of its budget on granting law-abiding citizens relief from firearm disability. That’s right! The Federal law enforcement organization entrusted to enforce the Gun Control Act of 1968 is DENIED the ability to use its budget to process Applications for Restoration of Firearms Privileges -- even though it is allowed under the Gun Control Act! This is an inconceivable attack on the 2nd Amendment! Anyone attempting to obtain online the appropriate form to restore their firearm privileges is greeted with the following message:

“Effective immediately, ATF is no longer making the Application for Restoration of Firearms Privileges (ATF Form 3210.1) available on the website due to Congressional appropriation restrictions that have been in effect since October 1992.”

Enough is enough! It is time to teach Congress that they are not above the law. It is time for Congress to learn that they work for The People. It is time for Congress to accept that they are there to support our existing laws and to end their petty attempts to stop our government from working for Americans and our Constitutional Right to Bear Arms.

5. Save the Remaining Wolves of the Profanity Peak Pack

Wolves are predators who must eat at least some meat in order to survive. Their natural prey - elk, deer, rabbits and other wild animals - have been killed and scared away by humans, sometimes leaving them with little choice but to prey on cattle, sheep and other domesticated animals in order to survive. Despite this, however, the wolves of the Profanity Peak pack have been given the death penalty for preying on farm animals.

Some of these wolves have already been killed. The remaining wolves are in danger of being killed.

Farmers want to protect their domesticated animals, but humane alternatives to killing wolves exist, such as fladry. Fladry was used as part of a traditional wolf hunting method, and it is as if wolves have learned to associate its presence with members of their species being killed. As wolves often tend to avoid areas surrounded with fladry, it is used to protect domesticated farm animals.

I believe that ranchers are required to employ riders to protect their animals before lethal control will be used against wolves. However, I still feel that other humane alternatives should be used be used instead of lethal control of these wolves.

These wolves do not deserve to be killed just for acting on their instincts and hunting in order to survive. Please politely urge the farmers/ranchers to consider using fladry to ward off wolves instead of killing these poor animals...

Stop The Gun Violence!

7. Allow the sale of firearms on Facebook

Facebook has been a much safer and more consistent place to sell items than craigslist since the sell tab was released.

It is legal to sell firearms in a person to person transaction at an FFL in the majority of states.

Facebook should not bend to the governments pressure to disallow the sale and discussion of firearms under the first and second amendments.

8. A call for Steve Lee to run for Parliament

We are calling on Steve Lee to throw his hat into the ring and run for federal parliament.

Our reasons for this are:

1) Steve Lee is a well spoken, intelligent and respected Law Abiding Firearms Owner.

2) He has a proven history of fighting for shooter's rights.

3) Steve Lee's music rocks and he's a bloody Aussie legend.

4) Refer back to reasons 1,2 & 3!

9. Reform Gun Control

Our nation has suffered too much at the hands of dangerous people who use guns to commit horrific acts of violence.

As President Obama said following the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, “We won’t be able to stop every violent act, but if there is even one thing that we can do to prevent any of these events, we have a deep obligation, all of us, to try.”

10. USA Military to Immediately Award Purple Hearts to Chattanooga Victims

On July 16, 2015 four marines and one sailor were gunned down in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The current investigation is taking on the tone of the Fort Hood massacre whereas the US Government declared it to be "work place violence" thereby disqualifying those injured and killed by the Muslim gunman their justly deserved Purple Hearts and any other combat awards.

It is the intention of this petition to demand without delay the award of the Purple Heart and any other combat awards earned be promptly delivered to the families of those slain in Chattanooga Tennessee.

11. Yes to one Obama Gun per Household

Make one free Obama government gun available to low income families for self defense.

Each American should be armed and ready to protect their families in an emergency.

The United States Governmet should offer (1)one gun free per household. It will be a lesser calibur and price gun. Each applicant shall not have any serious violent felonies on their record.

Americans are being stripped of their rights to bear arms.

Sign this petition to make every law abiding family available (1)one free gun to protect their families and homes from terrorists and intruders.

12. Constitutional Carry Bill For South Carolina

This is a petition to ask for South Carolina to approve the upcoming vote on Constitutional Carry of all guns.

13. Ban Replica Toy Guns!

Save our kids. Save their Lives! No more tragedies like Tamir Rice.

Too many senseless and completely preventable tragedies happen at the hands of replica toy guns and realistic looking toy guns. In this day and age with all the violence in schools and among our youths there is no reason to have these items in the marketplace.

Marketing and manufacturing to kids replica weapons, guns, ammo etc. should be abolished. It is purely irresponsible at this point. How many more innocent lives do we have to lose! If law enforcement and the public cannot ascertain the difference in these replica toy guns and real guns they should be illegal to purchase for the good of public safety.

Parents should not buy these weapons for their children. Manufacturers should not produce these toys. Retailers should be responsible and discontinuing all sales in stores and via on-line purchase. Were all responsible in some form for allowing this to continue!! Replica guns should be illegal.

Death at the hands of a toy is unacceptable and we are allowing this to happen?!! If there were no replica or realistic looking toy guns there would be no more toy gun related deaths, mistakes, crimes, accidents and there would be no excuse for these untimely tragedies that continue to occur and are increasing. One death as a result of these truly unnecessary toys is way too many.

These deaths as a result of these types of toys are preventable. These tragedies affect us all. We share this world with the same kids, parents and neighbors. Do not let this sort of tragedy happen to your family. And in not fighting and making these replica toy guns illegal were all essentially allowing future tragedies to take place.
Sign our petition!! Help us influence all the appropriate parties. This includes lawmakers, retailers, and manufacturers. The sales and manufacturing of realistic and replica toy guns should be illegal. Period!

The prevention of the tragedy like the one in Ohio involving 12 year old Tamir Rice never needs to happen again. Ever!!

14. Kenyans For The Right To Keep And Bear Arms

We are suffering increasing attacks from terrorists, kidnappers, hijackers, violent robbers, rapists, rogue law enforcement and military and other criminal networks.

We are like sheep, defenseless before the wolves. The sheepdogs entrusted with our safety and security are asleep and aloof.

Every Kenyan has a right to defend himself or herself from would-be predators using the best means and technology they can buy.

Our firearms laws are too restrictive. We are playing at a disadvantage to the evildoers. They use guns and we respond with... nothing.

We must change this now! Sign this petition and help institute a 2nd Amendment into the Kenya Constitution 2010. With more than a million signatures, we can put this matter to a referendum and win!

We need this now for our country, for the sake of our children and their children.

15. The RCMP abuses C-68

Swiss Arms Confiscated

Effective 10:00 pm eastern tonight the RCMP has reclassified the Swiss Arms Classic Green carbine from non-restricted (and restricted) to prohibited status. There are approximately 1,000 -1,800 of these firearms in the public. The government will not be offering compensation and will be demanding that the firearms, which cost between $3,000 - $4,000 be surrendered. The government is suggesting that all affected firearms owners contact the distributors from which the firearms were purchased for reimbursement.

The NFA encourages all affected owners to contact their federal Member of Parliament. This is part of an ongoing agenda of the RCMP to progressively prohibit firearms in Canada.

Under Bill C-68, the firearms classification system was supposed to be updated regularly to prohibit firearms being introduced into the market, as well as those already in Canada.

The Government of Canada was supposed to assist in this with periodic new legislation and Order in Council (OIC).

The RCMP have been doing this unilaterally since 2006. Access to information records show that RCMP have an aggressive firearms reclassification agenda, and that prohibitions will not stop with the Swiss Arms Series Rifles. These rifles were approved for import by the RCMP have been sold in Canada for over a decade. Owners once held registrations for them under the now defunct long gun registry.
There has never been a crime or incident of violence committed with one of these rifles.

NFA condemns this RCMP assault on the rights and private property of law abiding Canadians. The RCMP has shown contempt for the rights of Canadians by their actions, and we expect the Government of Canada to take steps and introduce measures to reign in the RCMP and end the assault against the rights, property and freedoms of Canadians.

If you wish to join the support group please goto!

16. Review the Oppresive Firearm Act: Nigerians should own Guns without legal impediments

The Nigerian firearms act of 1990 is one of the most reprehensible laws of Nigeria as seen at the website

This law snatches the power to bear arms and self defense from citizens and empowers religious fanatics and extremists who have killed thousands of Nigerians. Of note is the Boko haram insurgency which targets peaceful law-abiding citizens. Armed robbery attacks are on the increase. Militancy, religious fundamentalism and kidnapping are the order of the day.

There is mounting evidence that outlaws abound when they know that their targets are unable to defend themselves.

It is imperative that Nigerians be allowed to enforce their rights to life. Right to life and Freedom from oppression is guaranteed in the Nigerian constitution. Only an armed person can be free.

17. Amend Moose license application regulations in New Brunswick

Mr. Northrup, it is time to make changes to the regulations regarding the application process to obtain a moose license.

We believe that if you do not fall under the Grandfather law that you should need to input your Possession & Acquisition license number when applying NOT your medicare number.

This would not only increase the legitimate hunters chance in the lottery pool but decrease the amount of un-experienced hunters in the woods.

To recover the loss of revenue from the applications that would no longer be submitted, we would agree to a hike in the cost of application.

18. Ban all games of violence for children

Publicized incidents (Wikipedia)

Several incidents speculated to be related to video games in recent decades have helped fuel controversy.

On November 22, 1997, thirteen-year-old Noah Wilson died when his friend Yancy stabbed him in the chest with a kitchen knife. The mother of Noah, Andrea Wilson, alleged that her son was stabbed to death because of an obsession with the Midway game Mortal Kombat. She alleged that Yancy S. was so obsessed with the game that he believed himself to be the character Cyrax. This character uses a finishing move which involves getting the opponent in a headlock and stabbing them in the chest. Although Wilson alleged that this was the reason for her son's death, the character Cyrax does not actually perform this move at all. The conclusion of Wilson v. Midway Games, Inc. was, according to the court case report, "Wilson's complaint fails to state a claim upon which relief can be granted."[92]

On April 20, 1999, 18-year-old Eric Harris and 17-year-old Dylan Klebold killed 12 students and a teacher in the Columbine High School massacre. The two were allegedly obsessed with the video game Doom. Harris also created WADs for the game, and created a large mod named "Tier" which he called his "life's work". Contrary to certain rumors, however, neither student had made a Doom level mimicking the school's layout and there is no evidence the pair practiced the massacre in Doom.[93]

In April 2000, 16-year-old Spanish teenager José Rabadán Pardo murdered his father, mother and his sister with a katana, proclaiming that he was on an "avenging mission" by Squall Leonhart, the main character of the video game Final Fantasy VIII.[94]
In November 2001, 21-year-old American Shawn Woolley committed suicide after what his mother claimed was an addiction to EverQuest. Woolley's mother stated, "I think the way the game is written is that when you first start playing it, it is fun, and you make great accomplishments. And then the further you get into it, the higher level you get, the longer you have to stay on it to move onward, and then it isn't fun anymore. But by then you're addicted, and you can't leave it."[95]

In February 2003, 16-year-old American Dustin Lynch was charged with aggravated murder and made an insanity defense that he was "obsessed" with Grand Theft Auto III. Long time video game opponent and then-practicing attorney Jack Thompson offered to represent Lynch[96] and later encouraged the father of victim JoLynn Mishne to pass a note to the judge that said "the attorneys had better tell the jury about the violent video game that trained this kid [and] showed him how to kill our daughter, JoLynn. If they don't, I will."[97] Lynch later retracted his insanity plea, and his mother Jerrilyn Thomas commented, "It has nothing to do with video games or Paxil, and my son's no murderer."[98]

On June 7, 2003, 18-year-old American Devin Moore shot and killed two policemen and a dispatcher after grabbing one of the officers' weapons following an arrest for the possession of a stolen vehicle. At trial, the defense claimed that Moore had been inspired by the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.[99]

On June 25, 2003, two American step brothers, Joshua and William Buckner, aged 14 and 16, respectively, used a rifle to fire at vehicles on Interstate 40 in Tennessee, killing a 45-year-old man and wounding a 19-year-old woman. The two shooters told investigators they had been inspired by Grand Theft Auto III.[100]

On February 27, 2004 in Leicester, UK, 17-year-old Warren Leblanc lured 14-year-old Stefan Pakeerah into a park and murdered him by stabbing him repeatedly with a claw hammer and knife. Leblanc was reportedly obsessed with Manhunt, although investigation quickly revealed that the killer did not even own a copy of the game. The victim's mother Giselle Pakeerah has been campaigning against violent video games in the UK ever since.[101] The police investigating the case have dismissed any link, as discussed in the relevant articles.[102]

In October 2004, a 41-year-old Chinese man named Qiu Chengwei stabbed 26-year-old Zhu Caoyuan to death over a dispute regarding the sale of a virtual weapon the two had jointly won in the game The Legend of Mir 3.[103]

On December 27, 2004, 13-year-old Xiao Yi committed suicide by jumping from a twenty-four story building in Tianjin, China, as a result of the effects of his addiction, hoping to be "reunited" with his fellow gamers in the afterlife, according to his suicide notes. Prior to his death, he had spent 36 consecutive hours playing Warcraft III.[104][105]

In August 2005, 28-year-old South Korean Lee Seung Seop died after playing StarCraft for 50 hours straight.[106]

In June 2007, 22-year-old Alejandro Garcia from Texas shot and killed his cousin after arguing over whose turn it was to play the game Scarface: The World Is Yours. He pleaded guilty for murder at his trial on April 6, 2011, and will serve 15 to 30 years in prison.[107][108]

In September 2007, a Chinese man in Guangzhou, China, died after playing Internet video games for three consecutive days in an Internet cafe.[109][110]

In September 2007 in Ohio, 16-year-old Daniel Petric snuck out of his bedroom window to purchase the game Halo 3 against the orders of his father, a minister at New Life Assembly of God in Wellington, Ohio, U.S.[111] His parents eventually banned him from the game after he spent up to 18 hours a day with it, and secured it in a lockbox in a closet where the father also kept a 9mm handgun, according to prosecutors.[112] In October 2007, Daniel used his father's key to open the lockbox and remove the gun and the game. He then entered the living room of his house and shot both of them in the head, killing his mother and wounding his father. Petric is sentenced to life in prison without parole, which was later commuted to 23 years in imprisonment.[113] Defense attorneys argued that Petric was influenced by video game addiction, the court dismissed these claims. The judge, James Burge commented that while he thought there was ample evidence the boy knew what he was doing, Burge thought the game had affected him like a drug, saying "I firmly believe that Daniel Petric had no idea at the time he hatched this plot that if he killed his parents they would be dead forever."[114]

In December 2007, 17-year-old Lamar Roberts and 16-year-old Heather Trujillo were accused of beating a seven-year-old girl to death. They are said to have been imitating the moves taken from the game Mortal Kombat.[115]

In December 2007, a Russian man was beaten to death over an argument in the MMORPG Lineage II. The man was killed when his guild and a rival one challenged each other to a real-life brawl.[116]

False reports initially claimed that Seung-Hui Cho, the killer in the 2007 Virginia Tech massacre was an avid Counter-Strike player. However, police reports said that roommates of Cho had never seen him play any video games.[117] Despite these discoveries, activist Jack Thompson continued to argue that video games were to blame.

In June 2008, four teens allegedly obsessed with Grand Theft Auto IV went on a crime spree after being in New Hyde Park, New York. They first robbed a man, knocking his teeth out and then they stopped a woman driving a black BMW and stole her car and her cigarettes.[118]

On August 2, 2008, Polwat Chinno, a 19-year-old Thai teenager, stabbed a Bangkok taxi driver to death during an attempt to steal the driver's cab in order to obtain money to buy a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV. A police official said that the teen was trying to copy a similar act in the game. As a consequence, officials ordered the banning of the game itself and later the series, which led its distributor, New Era Interactive Media, to withdraw it, including the aforementioned, then-upcoming installment, from shops across Thailand.[119][120][121]

On October 13, 2008, the disappearance of Brandon Crisp and his subsequent death involving, according to his parents, obsessive playing of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been referenced in discussions about video game obsession and spawned a report aired by CBC's the fifth estate on video game addiction and Brandon's story titled "Top Gun", subtitled "When a video gaming obsession turns to addiction and tragedy".[122]

In April 2009, a man was charged with murder after shooting a friend during a quarrel over a video game.[123]

In January 2010, 9-year-old Anthony Maldonado was stabbed by relative Alejandro Morales after an argument regarding Maldonado's recently purchased copy of Tony Hawk: Ride and PlayStation 3 console.[124]

In January 2010, Gary Alcock punched, slapped and pinched his partner's 15-month-old daughter in the three weeks leading up to her death before he delivered a fatal blow to the stomach which tore her internal organs because she interrupted him playing his Xbox. She died from internal bleeding after suffering 35 separate injuries including multiple bruises, rib fractures and brain damage, which were comparable to injuries suffered in a car crash. Alcock was jailed for life and must serve at least 21 years.[125][126]

In May 2010, French gamer Julien Barreaux located and stabbed a fellow player who had stabbed Barreaux in the game Counter-Strike. The judge at his trial called him "a menace to society."[127]

On November 29, 2010 in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 16-year-old boy Kendall Anderson bludgeoned his mother to death in her sleep with a claw hammer after she took away his PlayStation.[128][129]

On April 9, 2011 in Alphen Aan Den Rijn, The Netherlands, 24-year-old Tristan van der Vlis opened fire in a shopping mall, releasing more than a hundred bullets with a semi-automatic rifle and a handgun, killing 6 people and wounding 17 others, after which he also killed himself.[130] A fair amount of attention was given to the fact that Van Der Vlis had been playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and to the alleged similarities between the events in Alphen a/d Rijn and the controversial "No Russian" mission in the game, where the player can choose to (or choose not to) partake in the killing of a large group of innocent people inside an airport terminal.[131][132]

On July 22, 2011, Anders Behring Breivik perpetrated the 2011 Norway Attacks, detonating a car bomb in the executive government quarter, and then travelled to a summer camp for teenagers, where he proceeded to stalk and kill a large number of people. 77 people were killed in the attacks, a majority of them being teenagers who were at the summer camp. Hundreds were injured by the car bomb explosion.[133] Anders himself admitted in court that he had deliberately used the 2009 video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to train for the attacks, specifically by practicing his aim using a "holographic aiming device".[134] He stated in his manifest that he had been planning the attacks since 2002.

After the December 14, 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, initial media reports mis-identified the shooter as Ryan Lanza, the brother of the true perpetrator. After discovering that Ryan had liked Mass Effect on Facebook, an Internet mob immediately attacked the game's Facebook page, labelling the developers "child killers".[135] Once it was discovered that it was his brother, Adam, who had carried out the massacre, initial news stories claimed a link to two video games, Starcraft and Dance Dance Revolution, neither of which are on the more violent end of the spectrum.[136] After a UK tabloid claimed that Lanza had a Call of Duty obsession, this was widely repeated across the Internet.[137] Subsequently, a small town near Sandy Hook organized the collection and burning of video games in exchange for a gift certificate.[138] A recent report by CBS claimed that anonymous law enforcement sources suggested a link to video games, which was later dismissed by the Connecticut police, saying that it was "all speculation".[139]

During the May, 2013 trial of Christopher Harris, an Illinois man accused of murdering a family of 5, the issue of video game violence was raised by the defense. The defense claimed that the family was, in fact murdered by the 14-year-old son and Harris walked in on the mass murder in progress and had to defend himself, killing only the teen in the process. The defense called a research psychologist who testified that the teen's exposure to violent video games, along with an alleged history of social, school and family problems, made him at risk for aggression. However, during cross-examination, the psychologist acknowledge having no clinical license, not having conducted a proper psychological evaluation or psychological autopsy and that research evidence couldn't link video games to violent crimes. The psychologist also asserted that even games such as Pac Man could possibly be considered violent video games. Harris' brother testified against him and forensic evidence linked Harris to the homicides. Also suggesting that self-defense was unlikely, the teen had been hit over 50 times with a tire iron. In referring to the psychologist's testimony, one assistant attorney general was hear to remark "The most offensive testimony I’ve ever heard in my life, I think." The jury did not accept the defense's argument and Harris was convicted of all 5 murders.[140]

19. Support Second Amendment Rights Enforcement

The Eastridge Mall has infringed on our right to protect our loved ones by putting up signs saying weapons are not allowed on the premises.

There have been several robberies in the last year in the mall parking lot and we believe the citizens of Casper, WY should be able to shop AND feel safe.

If we cannot conceal carry at the Eastridge Mall we will no longer go there. Please note that carrying a weapon (any weapon) on the premises can result in felony charges, this should not be ignored.

We will not be shopping there and we would encourage you to sign our petition and let them know the citizens of Casper will stand up for their right to bear arms.

20. Premier - Stop your attack on Law Abiding Hunters

This petition is dedicated to the memory of Michael Hampson.

Mike was a boat builder by trade and a company director. He was an "A" grade indoor cricket player for 30 years. A keen fisher, Mike made annual pilgrimages to Fraser Island each year with two different groups of mates, often organising the holiday. He was a great husband and father, dependable, reserved, sunny-natured and easy-going.

Mike is sadly missed and remembered with love by all who knew him.

Tight lines Mike.

On 4 July 2013 NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell announced the immediate abolition of Game Council NSW and suspension of hunting in 400 NSW State Forests and 2 Crown Lands areas.

This decision and action was said to be based on findings and recommendations of the Dunn report following a review of Game Council NSW governance.

However, the true motivation for the Premier's decision is purely political and revealed in the media release from the Minister for Primary Industries, Katrina Hodgkinson: "The governance arrangements of the Game Council are a product of the former Labor Government - another Ian Macdonald, Tony Kelly and Steve Whan legacy."

Premier O'Farrell has seized the political opportunity presented by the Dunn report. By abolishing Game Council NSW he has attempted to (a) reduce the growing support base for the Shooters and Fishers Party (which holds the balance of power in the NSW Legislative Council) prior to the NSW state election in March 2015, (b) inflict another blow to Labor's credibility and re-election prospects following the ICAC inquiry and (c) claw back support from dissatisfied environmental groups opposed to hunting.

Equally offensive to the tens of thousands of law-abiding hunters and firearm owners in NSW was the announcement that functions previously performed by Game Council NSW will be taken over by other government agencies including the Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH), Department of Primary Industries (DPI) and the Government Licencing Service (GLS) or the NSW Police Firearms Registry.

However even a cursory investigation of the performance of OEH/NPWS, DPI, GLS and the NSW Police by Mr Dunn would have revealed the litany of governance failures by these so-called "appropriate" agencies as identified by the NSW Audit Office, including:

• Inability of the NSW Government to provide assurance that its agencies can safeguard the security of sensitive personal information held in electronic records.

• Inability of OEH/NPWS to, inter alia, translate the objects in the Act to specific, measurable management objectives and identify what constitutes success in reserve management. It also needs to move from intuitive to informed management.

• Failure of OEH/NPWS to develop a state-wide plan for the management of historic heritage and absence of a NSW Heritage Strategy.

• Failure of NSW Police to store and transport firearms and ammunition in accordance with the Firearms Act 1996, storage of firearms and ammunition on open shelves within a police station and failure to dispose of firearms in a timely manner.

The Premier's decision to abolish Game Council NSW is a blatant political manoeuvre. There is no evidence that the nominated Government agencies are entirely "appropriate" and can provide an effective governance function. Indeed, the NSW Auditor-General's performance audits indicate there is cause for concern with these agencies' capabilities.

In the meantime, tens of thousands of hunters have been summarily locked-out of NSW State Forests without justifiable cause.

21. Dont Tread On Me or the Constitution

President Obama and his "gun control task force" are seeking to destroy the second amendment of the United States Constitution. The purpose of the 2nd amendment is to protect us from tyrannical governments and for self-defense.

The proposed legislation from the Obama Administration would make the vast majority of law abiding gun owners instant felons and criminals. The fact is that gun bans do not work, look at England for example, their statistics show that after the 1998 gun ban their murder rate went up by 14%.

To keep Americans safe, we need to have increased security in our schools, public places, and no more "gun free zones." Please sign this petition to help stop the gun ban, magazine ban, ammo ban, and/or any legislation that infringes on the 2nd amendment.

22. Impeach Obama

1. Obama and unrepentant terrorist William Ayers misappropriated over 300 million dollars in donations meant for the education of Chicago’s minority students. They routed the money to Obama’s community activist buddies who then tried to turn the students in radicals. The program was a total failure.

2. Obama, as an Illinois State Senator, redirected tens of millions in Illinois tax dollars to Valerie Jarrett and Tony Rezko, to provide housing for low income families. They returned the favor with political donations. The housing units were built with cheap materials and labor and are uninhabitable after a mere 10 years of use.

3. Obama accepted millions in illegal campaign contributions from foreign credit cards after the credit card filters used to screen out foreign money, was switched off. This also allowed domestic donors, who were over the legal limit, to contribute more.

4. Obama and SecState Clinton’s efforts to bring the US under the UN’s Small Arms Treaty are direct violations of the Second Amendment of the US Constitution.

5. Obama attempted to move control of the Census Bureau from the Commerce Department to the White House, to be managed by then Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel.

23. Support the lowering of restrictions on firearms in Australia while increasing background checks

Currently, there is a global focus on gun culture and its impact/relevance within our society.

This is especially true in America where politicians are trying to remove guns entirely from civilian possession (much like here in Australia) causing many civil rights movements to declare this as an attack on their 2nd Amendment Rights.

For the less informed, The Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm, unconnected to service in a militia and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes such as self-defense within the home.

While Australia has no Bill of Rights or anything closely resembling the Second Amendment, that should not discount Australians as having no rights to personal protection.

An article in the Brisbane Times, dated October 24 2012, indicated that "The overall crime rate in Queensland increased by 6 per cent in the last financial year - the first significant rise in at least a decade." and that "The rate of armed robberies across the state jumped 12 per cent".

While crime had initially decreased it is evident that crime is indeed increasing again and that the expansion to law enforcement numbers is not working. In addition to this, response times for police assistance on urgent matters on average can total almost an hour on some occasions.

This cannot be deemed acceptable and we need to recognize that police cannot always make immediate response calls and therefore the public need to be able to safely equip themselves with suitable defense.

It is often argued that more guns are not the answer and to that I answer that neither is taking them away.

One way or another, ill-minded people manage to obtain weapons (whether it be guns, knifes, bottles, etc) and harm others. If you disarm a nation you leave the citizens totally unprepared and at the mercy of police response times.

What's worse, is that with weapons being nationally banned, any weapons obtained underground are harder to track back to an owner. Lengthening the investigation process by law enforcement. Why make police jobs harder than they already are?

History has also shown that government corruption can and has occurred before threatening the lives of many civilians. We cannot ignore history and we need to accept, despite how good things might be now, that the future can take a turn for the worse.

What I propose is that we loosen our ban on weapons and focus on performing background checks on those applying for licences in addition to giving psychological treatment to those ill-minded people.

We, as a nation, need to recognize that we are all entitled to safety and protection and we should not be judged as guilty before proven innocent.

Every day we hear about the bad in the world, and any man or women can see that we are living in the bottleneck of war. It is at this point in our global society where every man and woman should have a gun.

I'm not an american, nor do i agree with everyone having a gun at all times. This is because not everyone needs a gun at all times. With the situation in the wold only growing more dire and closer to war ever day i propose that every man & woman 20 and over should be provided with a 9mm pistol in times of crisis. While the military is off at war who is protecting you at home? There is no one stopping someone from coming into our home with their gun and taking advantage of you and your child. Some people may think putting guns on the streets of Canada is just adding to the problem when there is clearly enough death on our streets. This is the thing there are already guns on the streets in the hands of BAD people what's wrong with giving those perfectly SANE perfectly responsible people a gun in a time of crisis.

I and many people who i have spoken to believe that at the age of 19 you should be properly trained to use a gun, and given your licence, NOT YOUR WEAPON. this is just one of the precautions that we would have to take. Plus all guns will be registered, guns are not cheap, but whats more important than the protection of our citizens and our families... i cant think of anything, can you ? the gist of what i'm saying is that every man at the age of 19 should be properly trained and given a gun. This gun will be kept in a designated place their should be a few in each city so your gun is no more then 20 minutes away from your home closer would be better, This will ensure that these guns are not used to commit acts of unrighteous unjustifiably violence. their may come a time when everyone wishes this had been made a right but by then it would have been to late, whats wrong with this idea no one gets their gun to walk the streets, and you cannot pick up your fire-arm unless we are in a time of crisis.

What justifies crisis WILL need to be reevaluated. But as the president of the NRA in America said "we already know the bad guys have guns, whats wrong with putting a gun in the hands of good, trained, men and women in a crisis. i cant find an reason why this is a bad idea but then again everyone is entitled to their opinion.

25. HELP AMERICA STAY SAFE: Respect The Second Amendment

Statistics make a compelling case for gun ownership
By Jeff Jacoby | GLOBE COLUMNIST MARCH 21, 2012

THE COLORADO Supreme Court...when it ruled unanimously this month that the University of Colorado’s campus gun ban violated a 2003 state law that entitles residents with permits to carry concealed weapons.

While the University of Colorado spent much of the past decade resisting the state’s concealed-carry law, Colorado State University complied with it. If the gun controllers are right, Colorado State should have seen a surge in crime, while its gun-banning sister institution should have been an Eden of security and lawfulness. That’s not what happened...“crime at the University of Colorado has risen 35 percent since 2004, while crime at Colorado State University has dropped 60 percent in the same time frame.”

Roughly 1 of every 4 Americans reports keeping a gun to protect themselves or their homes. Having a gun makes many people — for good reason — feel safer.

Taken from The News-Dispatch, Michigan City, Indiana
CRIMINALS DON'T OBEY GUN LAWS; Jack Allgood from Michigan City High School wrote a column Tuesday titled "Guns Should Be Outlawed in U.S." I am afraid he needs some education (as opposed to indoctrination) on that subject.

The basic premise that outlawing guns will resolve violent crime is simply wrong. Why not just outlaw violent crime? The answer is the same - it is because criminals do not obey laws. They will not turn in their guns to assist the nation in becoming gun-free. Gun control laws only result in the disarming of the law-abiding public, taking away their right to defend themselves - while the criminals ignore the gun laws along with all others.

Mr. Allgood argues that the circumstances of "the right to bear arms" were different when the Bill of Rights was first written. Perhaps. But at that same time, nobody knew freedom of speech would ever pertain to photocopy machines, television or the Internet. Shall we also rein in the right of free speech on those same grounds, because the circumstances have changed from the 1700s?

It is true that gun crime was much less of a problem in the distant past. However, back then there were almost no gun control laws, either. In fact, a child could buy a handgun through a Sears catalog just by sending in an order blank and the money. The problem is not that there are more guns today, it is that there are more criminals. Please don't think that if you take away a criminal's gun, he will suddenly turn into a gentle law-abiding citizen, watering his flowers and waving "hello" to you as you pass by in safety. Guns do not make people into criminals. Taking away guns does not turn criminals into lawful citizens either.

Washington, D.C., has some of the strictest gun laws, yet amazingly the criminals do not obey them - and their gun violence rate is three times the national average. Vermont has very few gun laws - any 18-year-old can carry a concealed handgun and no permit is needed - and it is a much safer place to live. It's not the guns, it's the people.

Mr. Allgood, we would like very much to live in a safer society. However, your idea won't work, and I am not prepared to have my rights thrown away to try for the hundredth time something that does not work and has been proven not to work. In Nazi Germany the public was disarmed and only the authorities had guns. That is a common first step among dictators and it is utterly foolish to suggest that we do the same here in America. As Benjamin Franklin said, "He who gives up freedom for security deserves neither."

The U.S. Supreme Court has recently ruled that the Second Amendment means what it says, and we can be thankful for that.

26. Arm School Staff

Stop blaming the NRA and blaming the responsible gun holders... stop trying to take our second amendment constitutional rights away.

Deputize all willing school teachers and staff, training them in proper defensive handgun procedures. Run them through a course at the local sheriff or police station.

Add a volunteer police station/office in every school.

27. Require a Form of Class and/or License Prior to the Purchase of Any Firearm

When purchasing a firearm the requirements are lenient and lacking depth.

With recent tragedies we have witnessed the horrific events that are made possible when a firearm is placed in the hands of an irresponsible/under evaluated owner.

This petition proposes that as a nation we require a form of class and/or licensing prior to the purchase of any firearm.

Including, but not limited to, sanity evaluation, awareness, and of course gun safety.

With a form of testing in order to be licensed and able to purchase/possess a fire arm.

28. Petition for Protected Gun Rights

We the people, lawful residents of the Great State of Kentucky, categorically reject any pretense that gun control laws deter criminals from possessing or using guns to commit crimes.

We believe that gun control laws only serve to unduly restrict law-abiding Missouri resident's God-given right to defend themselves from violent criminals.

29. Enforce a drill for school shootings in Christiana distirct immeditaly

Our children do drills for about everything that possibly could happen while in school but one that is very important and matters as much as the other drills they do to prepare for.

I am asking all parents in the Christiana school district to sign this to demand a drill made immediately to have our children ready in case of a school shooting. Today Dec. 14, 12 and the horrible events that unfolded today should be a wake up call for all of us!!

30. Let's outlaw this ONE GUN, the Bushmaster .223

With all efforts to enact common sense gun control in the United States of America mired by special interest funding, false readings of the 2nd Amendment and an intractable congress, we understand the incredible challenges that confront any level of sensible gun control legislation.

However, the time has come for action, and we, the signers of petition, say LET’S START SMALL, and put all of our effort into outlawing JUST ONE TYPE of gun, the Bushmaster .223, used to murder 20 students and 6 teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

The Bushamster .223 (SIG 556) is a semi-automatic precision assault rifle, capable of firing 700 rounds per minute from a range of up to 100 yards. It is not a hunting rifle, it is designed for warfare. And it should NOT be legal to purchase by anyone who wants one in the United States.

People who advocate against gun control frame it as a rights issue, but the 2nd Amendment was NEVER intended to grant such broad powers. Written in 1791, the 2nd Amendment specifically related to the organization of militias and the right to bear ‘muskets’.
