Our current Con-Dem coalition government is considering cutting free swimming sessions for pensioners and children.
We hereby petition them to change this policy.
We the undersigned petition the government to preserve free swimming sessions for pensioners and children on the basis that it encourages a healthier lifestyle, encourages body strength and physical health and can, in fact, save lives as a skill.
The latter will be useful when Search and Rescue funding for helicopters is cut.
