1. Parental Alienation Awareness Day Proclamation - April 25, 2010
PARENTAL ALIENATION AWARENESS DAY - April 25, 2010
WHEREAS: Parental alienation is often found in high conflict separations, divorces and custody disputes,
and takes advantage of the dependency and responsibility of a child; and
WHEREAS: Parental alienation deprives a child of their right to a loving relationship with both parents,
and interfers with a child’s mental & emotional development; and
WHEREAS: Parental alienation can be mild or to the extreme, conscious or unconscious, and can
manipulate and undermine a parent’s role in a child’s life; and
WHEREAS: Parental alienation behaviors such as denigrating the target parent, interfering with communication and visitation, confiding inappropriate adult information with a child; such as the details of the marriage breakdown, court proceedings and financial matters are considered harmful to the child’s mental wellbeing; and
WHEREAS: Medical professionals agree the problem of parental alienation exists and can cause mental and emotional harm to a child; and can affect them as adults with tragic consequences; and
WHEREAS; With awareness, we can educate parents to act in their child’s best interest, and gain education, understanding, and knowledge to prevent the abuse of the innocent victims involved in high conflict separations.

•recognize & educated on the signs of parental alienation
•children need mental health protection to be acknowledged and protected from mental & emotional abuse.
Family Court System
•enforce court orders when mental health issues are being ignored
•enforce doctors recommendations for counselling when there is a family history of mental illness
•oversee the office of the children's lawyer: to work in the best interests of the children they are representing, follow through with mental health assessments
•give a doctors diagnosis the respect it deserves, and consider the recommendations
•give the education system the respect it deserves, and consider their recommendations
•enforce court orders

3. Abolish the law that orders pigeons' starvation to death in Venice
This is a petition for abolishing the law in Venice (Italy) that forbids people to feed pigeons in the WHOLE city and if one is caught throwing crumbs to the birds is fined. The Venetian community has also ordered the killing of hundreds of pigeons.
The purpose of this law is to reduce the number of pigeons in order to protect the historical monuments, but to reduce it by letting the pigeons die of starvation or by killing them is cruel and inhuman. The historical monuments could be protected in different ways, e.g. by fixing spines or wires on the buildings that prevent pigeons from perching on them and by cleaning the monuments regularly with water. Pigeons could also be fed with sterilizing medicines so that their number remained under control.
Regarding the common fears that pigeons could be dangerous for public health, expert vets (e.g. Enrico Moriconi, President ASVeP –Onlus – Cultural Veterinary Association for Public Health, Torino and Roberto Nisini, Superior Institute of Public Health, Rome) in their articles published on the internet prove that they pose absolutely no danger for public health.
The law against pigeons is based only on wrong preconceptions and a hatred for the birds which unfortunately is shared by many Italian people.
The target of this petition is to defend animal rights and abolish this harsh law. This law is unfair not only to animals but also to animal lovers who are punished for showing compassion to the birds by feeding them -in other words, for their acts of kindness and love. This is a law against PERSONAL FREEDOM as it does not allow people who love animals to practice their beliefs and express their good feelings towards birds. It is therefore against both ANIMAL AND HUMAN RIGHTS. The purpose of law is to eliminate evil, but instead of serving that purpose, the Venetian law in question incriminates innocent people and causes endless suffering to birds. In Venice there are not many trees and seeds so the birds cannot survive easily without the help of sensitive people.
Pigeons are the tamest and friendliest birds. They offer joy to many people, especially to old lonely people, tourists who feel welcomed by the friendly Venetian birds (which have been a tourist attraction for many years), and children who invite them to eat from their hands. Because of their innocence, pigeons are traditionally associated with peace and spirituality. During the world-wars they were also used for carrying important messages and saved the lives of many people.
These beautiful birds and the sensitive people who care for animals (which are weak and defenseless) deserve our help and support. This harsh law that is against animal and human rights should be abolished.

4. Bloodshed of Men, Women & Children BY General Musharraf
It's not hidden to any one that Musharraf is responsible or cause of (directly or indirectly) bloodshed of thousands of innocent Men, Women & Children.
It might have happened in the incidents or war or action against our brothers in tribal areas or in Islamabad (Lal Masjid) or Bajoor agency or blasts in any polictial gathering, every one is political intelligent to assess the beneficial party out of it.
Action against the tribes & Islamic fundamentals is helping him in gaining US-Europe support.
Gripping the people in suicide attack philosophy is to create a fear in every pakistanis mind & also threating the political forces to avoid such processions & ultimately all these suicide attacks were basis to his action for Emergency.
WE NEED FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDOM

5. Destruction orders for vicious dogs
My son who is 7yrs old was attacked by his uncle's American bulldog over at his uncle's house - at the time the owners partner was there thankfully to help my son and remove the dog outside, however she's adament the dog was totally unprovoked and attacked him for no reason.
As a result of this my son had to go down to theatre to be stitched up as the wounds we're so deep, he had 20 nylon stitches in the back of his head.
Because the attack took place where the dog resides the officer dealing with it wasn't sure anything could be done to the dog.
The owner still has the dog, which we feel is absolutely disgusting - where are his morals!
It should of been destroyed in an instant, we are lucky my son is here today as had it been his throat he may not of been.
We feel the dog should be destroyed before its given the chance to attack someone else please help us to hopefully have a new law brought forward so if a dog attacks a child regardless of where it happens its a dangerous dog and it should be destroyed.

6. Stop the Abuse of The System by Women
I am a good man, from a good family. I met a woman from the backwoods, prostituting herself in a bar. We eventually married. I joined the Navy (8 years and a war) to help broaden our lives and serve my country. I supported her, while she slept with the 6th Fleet and took money from them occassionally, but constantly slept with other men in my bed. She convinced me it was because she was an alcoholic, so she got sober and we had kids. It's been a nightmare. She kept sleeping around, even with our minister! I converted, abandoned my family and worked two jobs to support her (she refuses to work) and the kids. We are now divorcing. Her rich mother bought her a house. We lost the family home (after she trashed it) and I moved in with my very religious Mother.
She's sleeping around even now, yet she goes to court and tells the world I shouldn't have friends. I am trying to get the kids and she files false Orders of Protection on me. I WON, but yet lost. I am my own lawyer at this point so even when I have her over a barrel I lose somewhat. We have no money or anything and she has dragged this nightmare out 17 months so far, even though she agreed we should divorce! My daughter has been committed twice and the boys are a wreck. She is physically and mentally abusive yet the courts won't protect us from her. I have Ex Parte 50% custody (no divorce TRIAL yet), but she's always filing BS like I don't take medication, when I have a bottle in my pocket, like our daughter attempted suicide while with me, but it was with my soon to be Ex that rode in the ambulance with my daughter then tried to cover it up instead of get her help!! Please sign my petition. Anyone who has suggestions, please make them! Any encouragement, acknowlegement, ANYTHING is welcome.

7. Warwick Resolution to Protect Civil Liberties
Help us to ensure that the town of Warwick, NY is next on the list of cities, towns, counties & states to pass a resolution to protect the civil liberties of their residents!
The USA PATRIOT Act, passed by Congress in the wake of 9/11 terrorist attacks, grants powers to law enforcement and intelligence gathering authoriites that can and are being used to undermine and otherwise violate the US Constitution.
On Aug. 14, 7:30, we present a petition to the Warwick Town Board requesting passage of a resolution against provisions of the Act which are a direct threat to our liberties. Please join us!
