1. Stop Facebook from allowing violent posts and videos now!

Have you ever scrolled down your news feed on Facebook and noticed and video that shows two or more individuals in a violent dispute? A helpless individual that is being bullied or humiliated? I personally have seen this countless times on my news feed being shared by friends or from other sources. Why? Because in today's time people find humor in seeing people injured or humiliated over a boy, money, drugs, ect. Are you tired of seeing this kind of content? For some reason the higher up's that run Facebook seem to think this type of content is okay and does not go against thier community standards. As they would say "We understand that it may still be offensive or distasteful to you, so we want to help you see less of things like it in the future. From the list above you can block said users account directly, or you may be able to unfriend or unfiollow them." Yes it is offensive and distasteful actually but, will blocking said users/videos from our feed make the vidoes disappear? Will they eliminate the embarrassment of the persons involved while people from all over the world see them being harmed or even in some cases "had it coming"? Regardless of the nature or reasoning behind the acts I personally do not think content like this should be allowed on Facebook at all! Violence has become a natural part of our world but if people can come together by signing this petition and forcing Facebook to remove harmful videos/posts of this nature we can at least eliminate this tiny fraction. So please take one minute out of your busy day to sign this petition and help stop the spread of violence on Facebook! Will it end violence? Not even by a long shot but every little thing helps!

2. #StopCyberBullying

Hi, my name is Ashlee
I am Stephanie's younger sister. My sister was such an sweet, caring, and beautiful person. I wish people would have that side of her. In case some of you didn't know my sister was a victim of cyber bullying and rape. Which led to her death. She did not deserve any of this treatment she had while she was on this earth. I am so hurt that there wasn't anything I could do or help the situation before it was too late. I hope now she is finally resting and in peace.

In honor of death I have started a petition for victims of cyberbullying and rape. We need stricter laws and punishment for this kind of pain and torture. Suicide is the third leading death in the U.S. On an average, 1 person commits suicide every 16.2 minutes. Each suicide intimately affects at least 6 other people.

3. Stop cross-border harassment and prosecute offshore harassers

Being harassed by a person who is living in a different country than you means that you just have to live with it.

This petition is to help change the law and get the person who is harassing you or someone close to you to face justice, no matter where they are.

4. Stop bullying in America!

Millions of teens get bullied everyday! Most feel insecure! I have had this feeling once!
I have felt insecure many times but I learnt that we should stick with the people who respect us and love us the most!

We should stop Bullying! Don't be a by-stander! A leader always stands up for what is right! Your signature could make a huge difference!

5. Child Bullying in Wortham

Our children in the city of Wortham, Texas are being bullied in school and in the neighborhoods. Children are being made fun of because of physical appearance and social standing.

On several occasions children have been called names, hit, and had objects thrown at them. Bullies have also been making faces at them, and bullying them with intimidating actions to make the children feel threatened. The parents and residents of Wortham feel that speaking to authority at Wortham ISD and the Wortham Police Department are not getting satisfactory results.

Bullying can threaten students’ physical and emotional safety at school and can negatively impact their ability to learn, also school administrators, such as principals, can play a powerful role in bullying prevention. They can inspire others and maintain a climate of respect and inclusion. Students feel safer and can focus on learning, parents worry less according to stopbullying.gov. A school that fails to respond appropriately to harassment of students based on a protected class may be violating one or more civil rights laws enforced by the Department of Education and the Department of Justice, including: Title IV and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Titles II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Also "School must be an active participant in responding to harassment and should take reasonable steps when crafting remedies to minimize burdens on the targeted students".

If the bullying is not taken care of immediately, a formal grievance may be filed with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights and from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division.

6. No more Ask.fm for children

I'm very passionate about getting kids in Australia, but will start with at least Port Pirie South Australia, off of the site Ask.fm as it is a troublesome site full of BULLYING.

You can ask questions anonymous, so you can hide behind a computer screen and cause a lot of hurt and pain. I am a youth worker and have seen first hand the heart ache this site can cause.

I have been able to get a few kids to delete this site, but not enough. There has been some comments on Ask.fm kids telling other kids to kill themselves and they don't know who it is so there mind ticks over and over. A horrible place to be in, kids have enough going on in there lives with out this stuff going on. Specially vulnerable kids 😦

7. Stop Bullying Now!

Sign this petition if you want bullying to STOP NOW!

Every year people are greatly affected by bullying. Either in school, at home or the workplace, bullying has major impacts on lives and can lead to mental health conditions such as deep depression, anxiety and even in the death of a child through escalating violence or suicide.

No one deserves to feel scared at school, work or home. Too many people who witness bullying never step forward for fear of becoming a victim themselves or risking their career. It's time to put a voice to this major issue.

In Victoria, Australia, a young woman was bullied to the point she took her own life. As a result, the Victorian Government introduced the Brodie's Law that protects victims of bullying and holds those who bully accountable.

This petition will help drive similar laws in the rest of Australia to protect our most vulnerable in our community.

8. SERIOUS PENALTIES for BULLIES who TAKE LIVES

Way too many recent suicides (one is enough) as a result of relentless bullying, has prompted us to take further action. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

Therefore, Don't Bully are petitioning the Australian Government for harsher and more serious penalties for the BULLIES who TAKE A LIFE, through continual intimidation, harassment and Bullying in all it's forms.

We are asking for Accountability and Responsibility for the Bullies actions through penalties which are serious enough to be a deterrent for their unacceptable behaviour towards others.

*** We need OVER 250,000 Signatures *** So we are taken Seriously. When we receive over 250,000 signatures we will personally take this petition to parliament wearing our Don't Bully Gear ! HELP US TO SAVE A LIFE NOW - If not you? Then Who?

9. Zero tolerance for violence in all schools

In May of this year my 13 yr old daughter was viciously attacked in school by another pupil while others stood by watching and filming the attack on mobile phones. Not one person helped Kia.

The school's punishment to this girl was not immediate, a 3 day's exclusion while since this date Kia hasn't been to school as she's too scared so had to attend the local college.

I want a zero tolerance policy in all schools towards violence and bullying children.

10. Protect Safe School Coalition(SSC) in Queensland State High Schools

Christian groups are working to undermine the success of the SSC which promotes safety and respect of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans* high school students. The spreading of untruths, information taken out of context, including disruptive behaviour to hinder supportive schools slowing the progress of this great initiative.

The SSC training is only given to school staff and used at their discretion. There is no contact with youth as Christian groups suggest. And, nothing is to be feared as suggested with content of the SSC education resources.

Parents expect their LGBT sons and daughters, while at school, to be protected not vilified.

The SSC is a great step forward to assist school staff and families to minimise LGBT youth who are statistically at a higher risk of suicide, truancy, homelessness etc than heterosexual youth.

As somebody once said "God forgive them because they don't know what they do".

11. Stop black gangs harming students who are making good grades for a better life

#BTNOMB obtained a video of a young man LEAVING HIS SCHOOL in Philadelphia. We’re told that the young man is an EXTREMELY GOOD student, who is constantly BULLIED by some of the ‘GANGSTERS’ inside and outside of his school. The young man, whose identity we are keeping a secret, reportedly has a 95 average.

Last week, he learned that he made the HONOR ROLL. The beating came the SAME DAY he was told.

PURE IGNORANCE: High School ‘GANGSTERS’ Brutally BEAT Black Classmate . . . Because They Find Out That He MADE HONOR ROLL.

13. Anti Bullying Law Review! Stop Encouraging Bullies!

Please help stop bullying. Sign the petition!

14. Stop bullying in schools

I'm starting this petition to stop bullying in Kenton school.

My son has been bullied since he started in this school and its time that it stops for him and other children like him.

It's not fair so I would like harsher punishments for the bullies and more help for the children that are being bullied.

15. IF MARSHAWN CAN'T STOP THE NFL FROM BULLYING HIM - SEATTLE WILL. WE GOT YOUR BACK.

Why is it that Americans and people all over the world have Anti-Bullying Campaigns and Rallies and Groups dedicated to stop the bullying of Children, but when it comes to Adults - there doesn't seem to be any boundaries? In fact, it's the Adults Bullying the Adults. When it is as blatantly displayed as it is right now by the Media and the NFL towards Marshawn Lynch, somebody has to take a stand. Seattle, who's with me?

After such a big win last night, 1/18/2015, all I could think about as I tried to calm down from my excitement of the game, was Marshawn and what the NFL will fine him for or what Media will say next, and how upset it made me.

Why is the NFL badgering and bullying Marshawn Lynch? They continuously try to ridicule him and fine him, whether it's for him speaking, or his lack thereof. For his gestures, for his shoes, you name it - the NFL will fine him for it. Why? What point is being made?

I read the other day, a very simple yet powerful quote that reads: "What Susie says of Sally, says more of Susie than of Sally" Well, what the NFL says of Marshawn Lynch says more of the NFL than of Marshawn.

I am a native of Seattle, and they City I know is a City that stands for each other. We will not sit back one more day and watch as the NFL continues to hurt somebody's pride, self-esteem, or take their money for no reason. In fact, if I know Seattle well enough, I would go so far as to say that we wouldn't stand for that behavior against any person, young, old, Seattle, or elsewhere.

This petition was written by myself, Nadia Agha of Seattle, Washington, and not instigated by any other person(s).

THE BULLYING MUST STOP TODAY. WE ALL WE GOT. WE ALL WE NEED. Please sign this petition, we need this to STOP.

16. Heber Springs Teens Fight Bullying

Speak Life” was developed by Heber Springs Teens in response to a growing need to support the children in our community in a real and tangible way and to address the issue of bullying among our children.

Our organization recognizes that kids today face obstacles and circumstances that previous generations did not encounter. Our goal is redirect the negative influences and information into positive concepts that will change hearts and attitudes and have a lasting impression on the kids that need it the most.

Our goal is to connect these kids, first and foremost, to each other by developing character building strategies and opportunities for them to get to know each other in a new way. Secondly, we will attempt to give them a greater sense of responsibility in our community by involving them in service opportunities, community involvement skill building and even internships and jobs opportunities for the teenagers.

We feel that this part of our program is vital to giving our children purpose and a greater sense of being connected to the breadth and scope of what they can accomplish as an individual and as being connected to a group. The third tier of our program will create opportunities for our children to be the difference. We will encourage the children of our community to be the organizers, administrators and directors of their own programs and show them that they can be the greatest difference in making substantial changes for the better in their school, their community and on into their future.

A great number of benefits have been reported to support teaching kindness in schools such as happy, caring children and an increase in peer acceptance, improvement in self-esteem, a better sense of belonging and reduced depression, all leading to an overall goal of a reduction in bullying among peers.

17. Added bullying education and zero tolerance policies in schools

One in every two teens and children across America are bullied every day. One in four are bullied online. Many don't know how to deal with bullies in school, or who to reach out too and are left feeling hopeless. This needs to end. Now.

No child deserves to walk through the hallways in fear, or sit alone at lunch because everyone else picks on them, or be left without resources to help their situation.

Schools need to add anti-bullying education into their curriculum starting in elementary schools. Schools need to have counselors for children to easily talk to if they face a bullying problem.

Finally, schools need to have no tolerance for those who bully. There must be serious consequences for a child who bullies another, and more serious consequences for repeat bullies. The time for change is not tomorrow or next year. It is now and it all begins with us.

18. Stand up to bullying

In everyday life bullying is becoming more and more of a problem. Many children feel they are not taken seriously or the bullying gets worse because they have told someone. In the last week alone there has been 2 reported suicides of young people in my local area.

A study in Britain found at least half of suicides in young people are related to bullying and the same study also found that girls aged 10-14 may be at an even higher risk.

It has also been shown that there is a strong link between bulging and suicide. Victims of bullying are 2-9 times more likely to consider suicide than non-victims.

19. Save Free Anti-Bullying And Empowerment Centre From Closing

Beyond A Joke Incorporated is a not for profit centre built for young people so they have somewhere to turn for help and guidance.

We offer a free drop in centre, support groups and social club. We also offer a volunteering community service to bring people together to end bullying in a non-violent manner. Government will not support this project after stating they would. The founders funds have run out and the doors of this centre will have to close if help is not forth coming.

Many parents are approaching Beyond A Joke Incorporated in shopping centres when fund raising crying because their children as young as 12 no longer want to live due to bullying at school. Beyond A Joke Incorporated is trying desperately to stop any further suicides by young people who feel suicide is the only way to escape bullying. Please sign this petition for us to see support and recognition from Government on the importance of this service for parents, young people and communities.

Government official simply states not for profits are closing due to non funding. This is not good enough. The Government has a duty of care to people who have no money or support to seek help.

PLEASE HELP TO STOP BEYOND A JOKE ANTI-BULLYING CENTRE FROM CLOSING.

20. Help Stop Bullying and Make it a Criminal Offence

THIS IS A PETITION I HAVE DECIDED TO SET UP. AS I HEARD ON THE NEWS ABOUT THE 12 YEAR OLD WHO TOOK HIS LIFE AS A VICTIM OF BULLYING I WANT TO RAISE AWARENESS TO EVERYONE AND WANT PEOPLE TO SIGN UP TO THIS PETITION SO THAT THIS PARENTS MOTHER CAN SEE IT AND WITH MORE PEOPLE SIGNING A PETITION A DIFFERENCE CAN BE MADE TO THE VICTIMS OF BULLYING. LETS ALL GIVE A HAND AND HELP FOR THIS TO BE STOPPED.

YES IT DOES AFFECT THE INDIVIDUAL AND THEIR LIFE. THE BULLYS THINK IT REALLY IS A JOKE BUT WHAT THEY DONT KNOW IS THAT THE VICTIMS ARE HAUNTED BY IT FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE BECAUSE THE BAD MEMORIES FOR SOME REASON NEVER GO AWAY!

THIS IS SOMETHING I SERIOUSLY DO FEEL STRONG ABOUT AS I WAS BULLIED MYSELF. NO THE MEMORIES HAVENT LEFT ME AT ALL AND I STILL THINK ABOUT WHAT I WENT THROUGH. PEOPLE ARE GOING THROUGH BULLYING ALL THE TIME BUT THE VICTIMS ARE SCARED TO TALK ABOUT IT TO ANYONE! THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

VICTIMS ARE SCARED TO TELL ANYONE UNTIL ITS TOO LATE! THIS HAS BEEN SHOWN TO EVERYONE ON THE NEWS ON 12/09/2014. I REALLY DO HOPE IT DOES GO THROUGH BECAUSE THE BULLYS REALLY DO NEED TO BE CAUGHT AND THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO THE PERSONS LIFE.

21. Keep Our Medical Records Private - Do not give access without consent

My medical records were subpoenaed without my knowledge or consent. It was a shock to see the court order in my medical file at the doctors visit. It was an abuse of power that my records were accessed and this can happen to anyone. Your most private details can be accessed without your knowledge, consent or a chance to even fight the request or be informed of the reason they are being subpoenaed in the first place.

This is a violation that is very hard to accept. According to a letter I received from the Legal Services Commission, 20 August 2014, Quote, As explained by the Clinic's Practise manager those records were obtained lawfully by subpoena issued by the court. There is no requirement in such circumstances that the person to whom the records relate consent to or be notified of the subpoena.

Help me stop this violation against us and our most private and personal details.

Please sign my petition so I can seek justice for myself and others who have had their medical details accessed without consent, knowledge or a reason.

22. Ask Facebook to start reviewing photos and videos to help end the promotion of violence

People are turning to facebook to post violent activities in order to gain fame and popularity.

In many cases people are seriously harmed.

23. Tewkesbury School failing to protect students against bullying

After my daughter being bullied for the past two years whilst attending Tewkesbury School, it has recently got dramatically worse. After telephone calls, emails, letters and meeting with a range of staff (class tutor, anti-bullying staff, head of the school), the bullying is still not taken seriously.

The skill set that the staff posses certainly seems to be lacking in this area, as they not only do not seem to be able to recognize the signs of bullying, but they do not seem to know how to deal with it.

Even staff at the school (the receptionist and the Physical Education teacher) had been discussing my daughter in front of other pupils, and saying not very nice things. Complaints made to the head of school, did not get any feedback, then on chasing up, the head had no recollection of the conversation. This is how seriously the matter was considered.

My daughter was even asked by the head why she hasn't moved school, which only sends the message that the school knows it has a bullying issue, but if you get bullied and cannot handle it, then move schools. This alone is very worrying.
After reporting each case of bullying, it is my daughter that is isolated and has to sit in a class on her own (TLC), it is wrong that the victim loses out on their class time/education.

During a meeting at the school, the head even made the statement "Do you think ****** creates her own soap opera in her mind, for attention"? The culture of the staff is to try and point the blame elsewhere and not take any responsibility.

The bullies reports are looked at and referred to, stating to use that they (the bullies) attendance is good, their grades/reports are good and that they are not know to the school for bullying. This alone shows that they staff do not have the skills to recognize bullying.

My daughter has to report each case that happens, but now feels tired of doing it as the school does nothing/nothing changes. She now wants to leave the school as going is now a struggle for her, so the school heads advise "why haven't you moved school", has done its job.

24. El Paso Stop Cyber Bullying in Texas

To educate the community on the effects and to put an end to bullying and cyber bullying by partnering with the government officials, schools, and businesses.

25. Lights Camera Haze!

Hazing, commonly seen in Greek Life, is a serious issue that is often misrepresented in movies as a comedic scene.

When movies do include hazing, the audience is not warned that there is hazing, yet they would be warned if there was violence, harsh language, nudity, sex, etc. Hazing is just as serious and important to include.

As there is no warning, viewers can misinterpret that information and become convinced that hazing is not a grave matter.

By signing this petition, you can contribute to the possible reformation of the film rating system by the MPAA, so that hazing will finally be recognized as a humorless, grim matter and will be considered in this tone when movies are being rated.

26. The Bullying Project

The Bully Project Is A Group that has been created to make others aware of one of the major problems in young america today... BULLYING!

27. Stop bullying at food establishments

Schools are getting on the "stop bullying train" but why not food establishments in which people would not normally think of as a breeding ground for such a subject.

I have on numerous occasions witnessed bullying at food establishments on many subjects, and it needs to be heard. This is not a one subject thing, weight, autism, behavioral problems, they all fit the problem at hand. I am pushing this subject due to my 5 year old being mocked and laughed at in a local McDonald's while eating her dinner. She should not be judged on mere appearance.

28. Stop Twitter Abuse!

This petition is directed to the executive level of Twitter, Inc. It's purpose is to ask for improvements to policies which combat, and address acts of hatred and harassment in Twitter.

Twitter is asked to develop a program for the immediate, or eventual blockage of ISP's among repeated offenders who repeatedly use their pages to abuse others. Many people, celebrities or not, are victim to this type of behavior. The specific activity which prompted this petition however, was observance of twitter abuse directed at Megan Ohry, and Colin O'Donoghue.

It began with a “hater” who under two different user names, “spammed” Colin with material that was not only harrassment, but was offensive. Much of the content was inappropriate for younger twitter users, and this was hurtful I’m sure to not only Colin, but to his fans as well. I’m happy to say that after the two pages this user spammed from have finally been taken down, however at the time this petition is being created, the hater already has a new page.

What I am not happy about, is that the hater was allowed to have his/her fun to the expense of everyone else for a good long while before twitter acted on it. Twitter is in my opinion, too slow, and too lenient on abuse. Regardless of what ship you may represent, one thing stands true, and that is that this impacts all of us. It’s not just Once Upon A Time actors and actresses (and their fans) who have been abused this way. Yes, freedom of speech is important, but even that has it’s limits.

Debate and disagreements are one thing. That’s discussion, not abuse. Abuse begins when a twitter user utilizes his/her account for a purpose to do harm by verbal abuse with threats, ridicule, harassment, insults, and offensive material.

29. Cyber bullying should be made a crime

I recently appeared on TV and was traumatised to see unpleasant comments left online, under the video clip about my weight, myself as a person etc. Some of the comments included 'fat slug who never leaves the sofa', 'obnoxious' 'beach whale', 'deserve what's coming to me.'

What I was interviewed on TV about was a totally different subject to weight/appearance etc. I had twin boys 15 months ago and have had some on going health issues limiting what exercise I can do. These comments were put on a public forum (the internet) but they were never the less distressing for me to read. I would therefore like to see more being done about cyber bullying and it being made a specific crime.

The site the comments were on have kindly removed them, but the people who posted them online should surely not be allowed to behave in such a way. They were there for myself and other members of the public to read. I was shaking and crying when I saw them and have cried on and off for 2 days since. I am an adult. What if that was a vunerable teenager?

30. Three Strikes for Bullies In Schools

The rate of children becoming victims of bullying is growing every day.

According to the National Education Association, an estimated 160,000 students miss school everyday due to fear of attack or intimidation by other students.
