Ryan Heffner for Concord Township trustee nominating petition

Ryan Heffner is an eighteen year old native of Concord Township who loves his township so much he has decided to run for its highest office. If elected Ryan Heffner promises to do the following:

Ryan’s Campaign Issues

1. Improve traffic flow
• Work with county, state, and federal officials to improve traffic flow on major roads and interchanges.
• Apply for grants to help pay for road improvements.

2. Conservation of natural, scenic, and historic areas
• Consider the following: Wetland Buffer Zones, Floodplain Regulations, Riparian Buffer Regulations, Tree Preservation Regulations, Striker Conservation Development Regulations, Scenic Corridor Management, Land Trusts, and Conservation Easements.
• Increasing the number of Township owned parks to help protect natural, scenic, and historic areas.

3. Development
• Develop Concord in an organize way.
• Keep mid – high class development in Concord.
• Support Concord business groups.

4. Township government
• Keep township government up to date.
• Consider other forms of government (village or city government) when township government can’t solve problems or generate the funds to keep Concord in good economic health.
• Don’t accept any annexation of any land.

5. Township services
• Keep services up to date and under budget.
• Save money for improvements.
• Consider sharing services and cost with other cities, villages, and townships.
• Increase the level of funding each Township service department receives.

6. Cost
• Keep spending in line and the budget in check.
• Save tax dollars for future use.

7. Rising population
• Make way for new citizens.
• Keep Township up to date and able to except this new demand.
• Keep development in check with conservation

This petition is a nominating petition (required by Ohio law) now that you have read what Ryan Heffner wants to do. Please sign the petition so Ryan may file it with the Lake County Board of Elections to get his name on the ballot. We need twenty-five signatures to get his name on the ballot.
