1. RedHanded Campaign

The Redhanded Campaign has put into a publication official documentation that proves law enforcement officials are breaking the law before Grand juries and that prosecutors are aiding & abetting the criminal conduct and that members of the judiciary are covering it up.

2. Save our Awnings & Lights

We have remodeled and upgraded our building in Lake Geneva, WI. We have chosen a Jockey/Scarlett color for our awnings, lights and front door. The City is telling us they do not permit "Primary" colors.

At the counsel meeting it was voted that the color we have chosen can not be used because it is "Red". When driving around the business district of Lake Geneva and one can see all the Red, Yellow, Blue, Green and Black that are all mentioned in the ordinance as colors that can not be used, one wonders why we have been selected to have the sanction imposed.

So we are asking to be able to keep the color chosen, as they enhance the look of the building and the City.

3. Burton and Highcliffe bus petition

Presently the bus service to Burton and Highcliffe is not acceptable, running infrequently or often with no buses turning up on time or at all. Residents are having to walk. The service that is wanted is one which would include a return both ways up to 11.15 at night to and from Highcliffe and Burton.

We suggest that the yellow bus service negotiates Nationally and at local level so that there is a means test to enable the disabled and elderly residents to be able to get to Purewell or Christchurch. Bus passes could only be given out to those elderly residents with an income below a certain amount so that it makes it easier to subsidize the route. The present 1a could go to Burton and the 1b could continue to Highcliffe and back, thus not terminating before Sommerford.

Both those profit making routes are capable of sustaining this improvement to a public right to a decent public transport service. Alternatively the Red bus Service needs to stop cutting out buses and provide a similar service as suggested. It is impossible to get back to Christchurch after 6.30pm ish. from Highcliffe. We the undersigned request that local MPs in Bournemouth and Christchurch, Lymington and other relevant areas take this on board and listen to their constituents.

This is in the best interests of public safety and welfare. Even those with cars need a garage sometimes and are without transport!

4. P Platers should NOT have to display P plates on car in QLD (Queensland)

As a law abiding P plater, I have found that when P plates are displayed, many drivers (including those with Open licenses) behave in a completely unsafe and inappropriate way around P Platers on the road.

Such behaviour includes: Tailgating, engine revving, overtaking at high speeds (near misses often a result), provocative behaviours (in attempts to start an illegal street race). Drivers will also not allow P platers to merge in multi-lane situations.

Having travelled with drivers who are holders of Provisional, Probationary and Open licenses, I have found that many drivers have pre-conceived ideas (most likely stemming from various media reports) about what kind of drivers P platers are. Unfortunately a few people have created a reputation for everyone else with the same licence type.

It has become really unsafe to drive as a RECOGNISED P plater.

This is NOT a proposal to change the licensing system (or the various restrictions) in place in Queensland, but one that requests that P plates DO NOT have to be displayed whilst driving. The various restrictions would still apply, and licenses would still show each persons licensing level.

It would still be acceptable for repeat offenders to have to display P plates (especially those who are place on their Green P's after coming off a suspended license).

5. Boycott China Until Murderers Are Held Accountable

On Monday, a picture became circulated of a helpless infant dieing in water in a red bucket in a HOSPITAL in China. After the Chinese Birth Control Office injected poison into the pregnant woman to make her deliver the baby dead, it actually came out alive and started to cry.

The people responsible ripped the baby from its mother and threw it in a bucket, with water in it, to die. This is not going away and harm will come upon our world for this kind of atrocity continuing. Shame on the Chinese government for allowing this, and anyone else who condones this criminal, terrorist activity upon helpless infants.

I ask, and hold and hear by that those involved need to be held responsible, and put in a courtroom where they will be judged for their crimes by the great citizens of the common world. Thank you. Justice and the common man's concern for human life will prevail!

6. Request for Public Inquiry into Child and Family Services Authority

Workers within all branches of Child and Family Services Authority in Alberta have been maliciously abusing their powers and misinterpreting their mandates.

The Minister responsible for those branches is as guilty as the workers for blatantly closing their eyes on the partial list of the following issues:

usage of threats,
usage of coercion,
intimidation tactics,
fabrication of evidence,
dismissing complaints,
breach of human rights,
breach of constitutional rights,
breach of laws,
inadequate investigations,
not following their own protocols,
various forms of discriminations,
direct harassment,
internal and external collusions,
parading children to adoption candidate prior to Court procedures,
Court orders rendered without effective council representation.

7. Label all Topical Steroid Cremes for Potential Severe Rebound Side-Effects

We are a group of suffering people and children from all over the world who were prescribed topical steroids for various skin conditions and got addicted without any warning of the serious side-effects and potential addiction if used for over two weeks.

You can read our stories, see horrific pictures from our group, and read documented medical studies describing those afflicted along with their details of steroid creme addiction and withdrawal.

8. Amend Traffic Law 1174

Current traffic law 1174 does not address the consequences of ignoring the reds of a school bus and causing injury or death to a child.

9. Make CNC Red Alert 3 Uprising On Disc

EA made Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 Uprising only for digital download, (which thousands of people are not able to get), Also, in Uprising, there is no multiplayer or co-commanders in Skirmish modes, which many people want.

10. Microsoft Owes Us For Their Red Ring Of Death

Since the Xbox 360 was released in 2005, it's estimated that 30-40% [though i believe it is much larger] of the consoles shipped have had this problem. I am also one of those people.

Microsoft corporation will not release information or statics on this issue however. But to make matters worse, once you send in a broken 360 and get a "repaired or refurbished" one you'd expect not to have this problem again, wrong. Microsoft continues to send back out faulty consoles to buyers. Shame shame.

12. Protect All Endangered Animals From The IUCN Red List

The African wild dog, Lycaon pictus, is one of Africa's most endangered carnivores. It is Red Listed by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as an Endangered Species.

The reasons given by IUCN for this decline are human induced loss of habitat and persecution by humans. According to the IUCN report on wild dogs, there are between 3.000 and 5.500 free ranging wild dogs left in Africa today.

In January 2006 a film was broadcast by a Dutch Channel, Twee Vandaag, which exposed the indication that there was a serious trade in wild dogs, including dogs which came out of the wild!

One way in which the trade and capture of wild dogs could be monitored and controlled would be for them to be listed on CITES, Appedix I or II. (Convention of International Trade in Endangered Species). That means that the African wild dog, Lycaon pictus, should be placed on CITES as soon as possible to afford a greater level of protection.

The African Wild Dog will need protection from the local governments in Africa. Since it will take years to get it on the CITES list, The wildlifefoundation wants to act before it is too late! See the movie to learn more

The time is now! Protect the last wild dogs in Africa !

13. Larry Aurie to the Rafters

The Detroit Red Wings have neglected Larry Aurie for way to many years. Others, great ones as well have been honored, yet this person, Larry Aurie has been forgotten and was the first great one in Red Wings storied history.

Larry Aurie was one of the Red Wings' first great players. He was Detroit's representative in the NHL's first all-star game in 1934. He led the league in goals one season and was top-three in the league in points in another. In 1937, Aurie was one of the six players named to the NHL's post-season first-team all-stars. And most importantly, Aurie was a key part of the Red Wings' first two Stanley Cup champions.

We are asking that the Detroit Red Wings and the Management recognize Larry Aurie's # 6 and place his jersey in it's proper place next to Gordie Howe, Alex Delvecchio, Terry Sawchuk, Sid Able, Ted Lindsay and Steve Yzerman. Please fix this tragedy.

14. Planning Application for dwellings on Red Cross Site in Manor Road, Dovercourt

A Planning Application has been made to Tendring District Council for the building of houses on the Red Cross Site in Manor Lane, Dovercourt. We believe that the proposed site is unsuitable, due to poor road access and the sewer system in the area is under constant repair. The new housing development would increase the sewage problems further.

15. No Additional Gambling Districts in Red Lodge, Montana

Town Pump is proposing to build a service station, convenience store and casino here in Red Lodge. At their WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14 meeting (scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM at City Hall) the Red Lodge Planning Board will vote on whether or not to allow the establishment of a 1,768 square-foot Lucky Lil beer and wine casino on the north end of town, part of a 7800-square foot structure that will also include a convenience store and a gas station.

Some people may have the idea that there is no downside to having Town Pump's gambling in Red Lodge. If you had attended the February Red Lodge City Planning Board meeting where the Novasios' (the current owners of two convenience stores in town) request for gaming permits were discussed (and denied by a vote of 7-0), you would have heard almost two dozen citizens outline the detrimental aspects of more gambling establishments here. People spoke eloquently, informatively and respectfully about all aspects of the Novasio's request. Some used numbers and stats in their presentations; others simply spoke from their hearts. Many spoke to the precedent the board's vote would set for Town Pump. Interestingly, even the Novasios spoke out against gambling, saying that the only reason they were requesting the casino permit was because of Town Pump. Everyone was persuasive: the board voted unanimously against the permit, without discussion.

Consider these facts:

1) There is overwhelming evidence that crime increases dramatically after the introduction of casinos to a community. In Ledyard, Connecticut, the annual number of calls to that community's police department jumped from 4,000 to 16,700 within five years after the opening of the nearby Foxwoods Casino. In Cripple Creek, Colorado, serious crime increased by 287% in the first three years after casinos arrived. (See for more information.)
2) Domestic violence as well as child abuse and neglect are directly linked to gambling. According to a University of Nebraska Medical Center study, problem gambling is as much a risk factor for domestic violence as alcohol abuse. According to Maryland's Attorney General, domestic violence shelters on Mississippi's Gulf Coast reported increases in requests for assistance ranging from 100 to 300 percent after the introduction of casinos. Since 1996 domestic violence murders in at least 11 states have been traced to gambling problems. Cases of child abandonment at Foxwoods Casino have become so commonplace that authorities were forced to post signs in the casino's parking lots warning parents not to leave children in cars unattended. In Indiana, a review of the state's gaming commission records showed that 72 children were found abandoned on casino premises during a 14-month period. (See for more information.)
3) Gambling is an addiction that destroys lives and families. In a survey of almost 400 Gamblers Anonymous members, 28% reported being either separated or divorced as a direct result of their gambling problems. The number of divorces in Harrison County, Mississippi has nearly tripled since the introduction of casinos. (See for more information.)

Others may argue that having a Town Pump in Red Lodge will increase our tax revenues. Although this may be the case, such monies (and likely MUCH more) will be spent on increased law enforcement and social service costs that will most certainly accompany the increase in gambling.

There are many other reasons why Town Pump's gambling establishment is a bad idea for Red Lodge. Perhaps most importantly is the fact that the young people we have spoken to in this community - the future of this community - don't want more gambling. We have chosen to live in Red Lodge because it possesses a unique combination of qualities: friendly people, clean air, a low crime rate and a beautiful, unspoiled environment. We have purchased homes, started businesses that provide employment for people, and are raising our children here because of these qualities. We aren't interested in Red Lodge becoming just like every other soulless stop on the highway, nor are we interested in bringing more crime, violence or addiction to our community.

If you don't want to see increased gambling in Red Lodge, that opinion needs to be expressed at the Planning Board meeting on April 14 - either in person, by letter or by petition. (If you come to the meeting, plan to arrive early -- it will likely be very crowded!) Following the planning board meeting, the city council will hold its public hearing on the matter on Tuesday, April 27th at City Hall at 7PM, where your presence and input are also necessary. Your input will help determine the extent of gambling allowed in Red Lodge in the years to come. In the meantime, please tell your friends and neighbors about this important issue.
