2. Retrospective Action Against Simulation in Football

Over the last few years, we have seen an increasing number of incidents of simulation within football. As per the BBC, “last season [2012-13], 34 yellow cards were shown for simulation in the Premier League, up 14 on the previous season’s total and the highest recorded over the previous four years.” With the recent introduction of retrospective action for acts of violent conduct that have gone unseen by the referee, why are we not able to introduce similar such action against simulation?

This is a solution that is supported by both supporters and people in the game; none other than David Moyes, who said “I have said for many years that we should have retrospective video action against diving,” Moyes said. “That would help referees no end. My views haven’t changed from when I was at Everton to when I was at Manchester United.”

We believe that with enough support, we can bring this issue to the attention of the Football Association of England with the aim of hopefully removing simulation from the game of football.

3. Remove Song "Ya Hussain" from Movie "David"

We demand the Director of the Movie "David" and urge him to bring down the song, "Ya Hussain" before the release of the movie and ask him to apologize for hurting our sentiments.

Addressing an audience of diplomats in Geneva, US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton called for the rights of gay people to be respected.

"Gay people are born into and belong to every society in the world," Mrs Clinton said.

"Being gay is not a Western invention. It is a human reality."Reacting angrily to Mrs Clinton's speech, Ugandan presidential adviser John Nagenda told the BBC: "That fellow [Mr Cameron] said the same thing. Now this woman [Clinton] is interfering.

"If the Americans think they can tell us what to do, they can go to hell."

Uganda is a staunch ally of the US, receiving military assistance to fight a local rebel group - the Lord's Resistance Army - and has sent troops to Somalia to fight the al-Qaeda-linked al-Shabab group.

Mr Nagenda said Uganda would continue to co-operate with the US on security and other issues, but added: "If they are childish enough to take away aid, we'll see what we do [in response]."

5. Right to procedural fairness for David Cox

David Cox was accused of Conspiracy by the Federal Government in 2009. They brought about charges of selling more then 1.5 million dollars worth of cocaine, marijuana, and crack based cocaine. When offered a plea bargain of "17 to life", David refused to sign because he was not guilty of what they accused.

During trial, the Jury was instructed by Judge Terrance Boyles, that David would be sentenced based on the amount/weight they found him responsible for. Admitting that he was a drug user, the Jury found David guilty on a special verdict sheet of "less then 500 grams of cocaine ONLY". The federal guidelines for this would range 0 - 5 years in prison.

Two months later, David was sentenced 20 years in Federal prison, after the judge added the entire amount in sentencing, even though this is not what the Jury found David should be held accountable for. The United States Supreme Court has made decisions concerning criminal sentencing, and found that the Sixth Amendment right to jury trial requires that, other than a prior conviction, only facts admitted by a defendant or proved beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury may be used to calculate a sentence.

Judge Terrance Boyle was wrong in how he calculated and sentenced David Cox, and it should be fixed!

6. David Starkey does not represent London

Petition calling on Boris Johnson to withdraw his invitation to The Mayor's Thames Festival.

We the undersigned call on the Mayor of London to withdraw the invitation to David Starkey to speak as part of the Mayor's Thames Festival.

In a discussion about the riots this summer on BBC Newsnight, David Starkey used race-based terminology to explain the riots, claiming '"What has happened is that the substantial section of the chavs that you wrote about have become black. The whites have become black. A particular sort of violent, destructive, nihilistic gangster culture has become the fashion,"'. He also claimed Jamaican Patois has ''been intruded in many of us have this sense of literally a foreign country''. Comments encouraging the idea that black people and black culture lie at the root of the issues leading to the riots can only whip up racism and prejudice.

The Newsnight discussion then turned to the Mark Duggan protest. When Newsnight presenter Emily Maitlis, responded to Starkey saying that both white and black youth were involved in the riots, he contended that "it started as a black protest about the killing of a black man". When Owen Jones, another guest on the show, pointed out this was a peaceful protest about the shooting of Mark Duggan, and could not be held responsible for the riots, Starkey replied "it very quickly ceased to be peaceful". Quite apart from their race-bias, these comments are hurtful to the family of Mark Duggan, and also ignore the fact that the family strongly condemned violence of the riots.

The true spirit of London is not reflected in comments like these, but in the clean-up operations when people came together from all communities to repair the damage.

It is offensive and insensitive to give David Starkey a platform at the Mayor's Thames festival. Starkey's comments triggered thousands of complaints and have caused deep offence.

7. Multiculturalism is big enough to survive David Starkey

The BBC has been criticised for airing David Starkey's views about the impact of certain negative aspects of Jamaican culture on British Society.

Multiculturalism must be robustly and maturely criticised if it is to continue to evolve as a social model. The BBC supports Multicultural Britain by continuing to providing a forum for this robust criticism and for any ensuing debate that may arise from it.

9. Let the Chagos Islanders return home

In the early 1960′s, the US government, concerned about Soviet expansion in the Indian Ocean, asked the British government to find an uninhabited island where the US could build a naval base. Returning the favour, the US would be willing to give $14 million in research and development fees for Britain’s Polaris missile program.

The first island located was Aldabra, near Madagascar. Aldabra fitted the bill in terms of it’s location and vitally it was uninhabited. However, the island was a breeding ground for a rare species of tortoise and their mating habits may have been affected by a military base. Looking for an alternative, the US decided on Diego Garcia, the largest island in the Chagos Archipelago. This had the benefit of leaving tortoise mating undisturbed but the island was home to 1,800 Chagossians, or Ilois, who had inhabited the islands for over 200 years.

The Chagossians were employed, grew their own food and fished and had built their own stores and a church. However, the courtesy for tortoises evidently didn’t apply to human beings. The government soon began a campaign to deal with the “population problem” to “maintain the pretense there [are] no permanent inhabitants.” This appalling attitude persisted and rather than seeing Diego Garcia as the society it was, it was regarded as a nuisance, summed up by the British diplomat Dennis Greenhill who said: “unfortunately along with the birds go some few Tarzans or Man Fridays whose origins are obscure and who are hopefully being wished on to Mauritius.”

They were “wished on to Mauritius”, as well as the Seychelles and the UK. This began in 1968 when residents who left Diego Garcia merely to visit Mauritius were refused return to the island. They were stranded in Mauritius, without any assistance in resettling or any compensation. To this day, the Chagossians in Mauritius still live in poverty. Soon after, the Americans began to arrive and the rest of the indigenous population were forced to leave. Only allowed to take clothes, their homes and possessions had to be abandoned and their pets were killed amidst threats that if they did not leave, they would otherwise be “bombed” and wouldn’t “be fed any longer.” All this was with the full knowledge and approval of Harold Wilson, Roy Jenkins and Denis Healey.

The inhumane treatment was compounded by the compensation later given to the Mauritius government. The £1.4 million only covered the debts incurred from resettlement and when it was dealt out to 595 Chagossian families, it was years later and significantly reduced by inflation. Another £6 million was paid in compensation but when the Chagossians claimed for it, they were required to endorse a renunciation form, written in English though they speak Creole, that forfeited their right to return home. This wasn’t even translated for them.

Injustice after injustice, finally in 2000 it was ruled that the forced removal was illegal and the right to return to the outer Chagos Islands was returned. This slight progress was then reneged when Jack Straw issued two Orders in Council in 2004 and the right to return was take away again. Even as soon as April this year, the Foreign Office proposed plans for a Marine Protected Area in the Chagos Archipelago that erects a barrier to any return to the islands. The outright dismissal of their rights continues.

That’s the story. Tragic, inhumane and unlawful. We desperately have to make amends and the best place to begin is by changing our policy on Chagos and campaigning for their right to return. To achieve this, we need your support.

10. Start respecting other Religions!

Previously Funny Sketches of Prophet Muhammad PBUH were drawn in a newspaper in Denmark and now Facebook took the advantage of its popularity to do the same pitiful act.

11. Keep Conan!

NBC has already enforced Jay Leno upon the American public by pushing out one qualified late night talk show host, and is trying for this second time to nudge back the current most qualified talk show host on Television.

This petition requests that Mr. O'Brien's show remains at it's current timeslot unchanged.

12. Bring back Dr. Goodman - Bones

Dr. Daniel Goodman was the head of the Jeffersonian in Bones for the first season. He went on sabbatical at the beginning of season 2 and didn't come back.

The sabbatical was supposed to last for 2 months, and has been going on for about 3 years now.

13. David Cameron should keep his promise and hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty

We want David Cameron to keep his promise and hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty or we will not vote Conservative.

Recently, the chairman of the Conservative Party, David Cameron, has told voters that his party will not be holding a public referendum on the EU Lisbon Treaty, despite his iron-clad promise in 2007 assuring us that one would be held.

It is abhorrent that a major political party has cut we, the British people, out of affairs that would directly affect us. It is the people that make up the UK and without us, the Conservative Party would not even exist. We demand the right to be heard.

14. The David Tennant Shirtless Photoshoot

The Scottish actor David Tennant, best known for his role as the Tenth Doctor on the British sci-fi show, Doctor Who, is considered by fans the world over to be extremely talented, undoubtedly charismatic and very sexy!

15. Keep David R. White as the artistic director of the Atlanta Boy Choir

The Board of Directors of the Atlanta Boy Choir has asked David White to resign his position as Artistic Director and Conductor and disassociate himself from the institution, because the Board has determined that the Choir and its mission would benefit from a change in leadership.

The Atlanta Boy Choir's mission statement is as follows:
The mission of the Atlanta Boy Choir is to achieve the highest possible standard of musical excellence, while instilling in its members a life-long appreciation of music; an abiding love of beauty; a keen sense of respect for themselves and others; and the self-discipline necessary to become effective leaders in their families, their communities, and the world.

Under David White the Atlanta Boy Choir has not only exemplified this to the letter, but gone above and beyond it. During his tenure with the Atlanta Boy Choir he has started two new choirs, The Apprentice choir and the Atlanta Young Men’s Ensemble, he has produced four amazing CDs, Put the choir on the map as one of the best in the world, and probably most importantly of all made a positive impact on the lives of all the boys who sang under him. When the Atlanta Boy Choir recently preformed in the International Haydn Festival they received not one but two standing ovations. Many people described there performance as the best one there.

During the eight years I have known David, he has been, outside of my family, one the most influential people in my life. He has affected my life in a positive matter, and helped shape me into the young man I am today.

Hiring David after Fletcher Wolfe decided to resign was one of the smartest moves the board of the Atlanta Boy Choir has ever done. The choir would not benefit from a change in leadership. The only thing this move will do is hurt the choir. If anything David deserves to get a raise, not be asked to leave. He works day in and day out to raise the bar of excellence higher and higher, and to never settle for mediocrity.

David White is one of the best Artistic Directors and Conductors in the world, and the choir would in no way benefit from his leaving.

16. Exemption for Sunrise Propane explosion victims

On August 10, 2008, a propane explosion occurred at Sunrise Propane, 54 Murray Rd, North York, Ontario, forcing 12,000 residents from their homes.

Due to extensive damage caused by the explosion, not all residents have returned home as they have to rebuild.

Residents who have elected to tear down more than 50% of their existing walls, have learned that their house rebuilding is being treated as "new construction".

This Bylaw is according to Municipal Code, Chapter 851, Water Supply and Chapter 681, Sewer Service. Residents will have to pay the City of Toronto approx $11,000 for upgrades on city property, which does not include the additional expense required to upgrade the pipes on their own property.

Glenn De Baeremaeker, Chair of Public Works & Infrastructure, denied all requests for the issue to be added as an agenda item. He stated in a letter, “I fully understand and sympathize with the situation your constituent is faced with as he rebuilds his home following last summer’s Sunrise Propane blast, there does not appear to be sufficient merit to warrant a request of City Council to exempt this property from the relevant provisions of the Municipal Code”

Several written requests have been submitted to the Mayor's office for assistance. Karen Duffy responsed from the Office of the Mayor, stating that "The Mayor's Office is satisfied that the city is responding to your request. The decision rests with the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee. There will be no meeting scheduled."

A final attempt was made to add the issue to the agenda on the day of the meeting, June 3rd, and Glenn De Baremeaker made a ruling that the request would not be put to a vote and would not be heard by the committee.

Karen Duffy stated the Mayor was powerless to help, and once again said no meeting would be scheduled.

17. Give Rose Tyler a spin-off show

After the devastating departure of the most popular companion ever in Doctor Who, following on from the series 2 finale, Doctor Who supremo, Russell T. Davies, thought to create a one-off spin off show from Doctor Who, that would be entitled - Rose Tyler: Earth Defence, but decided against it after the creation of TORCHWOOD.

Despite Rose returning in the series four finale, I urge you, the Doctor Who fans, to sign this petition, to bring back Rose with her own spin-off show, which should also star David Tennant as the half-human Doctor and watch the star-crossed lovers on their parallel universe adventures together!

18. David Tennant To Join Twitter

If you are a Tennant fan, you'll know very well that he is not on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter or any other social networking sites. In the past, he has shown no interest to join any of them either. But recently (it seems to me) that he's been tempted by the idea of Twitter...

19. Change David Archuleta's Concert Attire for Idol live tour

David Archuleta is a 17 year old singing phenomenon. David is currently on tour with American Idol and his talent is being witnessed in a live setting by 1000's of new fans.

Currently his stage outfit for his solo songs is not complimentary to his stage persona. It is limiting and we request that it be changed to something more "on trend" with his musical style and skill.

Points to note:
1) Black/dark Grey is hard to photograph limiting the beauty of photographs.
2) The Jacket is not "age appropriate"
3) The Jacket looks like it should be on a 50 year old man on a cruise ship
4) The black undershirt does not match the balance of the outfit
5) The Pants do not fit. They "hang" wrong and make a sloppy impression.

Please note: it was very hard to start this as we wouldn't want to hurt Archie in any way. But this is not a reflection on David himself, as he didn't pick this suit. Plus, can you imagine what Simon would say if David wore this on Idol. If they keep the suit, at least tailor it so it fits properly.

20. Get David Wells back ASAP

This Petition is is for David Wells because he seems to be missing from most haunted, that phychic artist is absolutley hopeless and I want david wells back, he was funny and I want him back.

21. Vote NO on David Couch Immigrant Resolution

Councilmember David Couch introduced a resolution that has 3 prongs:

1. Declare English the official language of Bakersfield.

2. Investigate city services currently being utilized by undocumented immigrants.

3. Declare that Bakersfield will never become a sanctuary city for immigrants.

The Social Justice Task Force is asking concerned residents of Bakersfield to oppose David Couch's resolution. These resolutions would do nothing to effect Federal Immigration Law.

Instead this would increase racial profiling and racial hate crimes in an already divided city. Please sign petition below.

Bakersfield City Council will discuss and possibly vote on these resolutions on Wednesday, September 26th.

22. Mark David Chapman Put To Death Petition

On December 8, 1980 Mark David Chapman committed the most heinous crime. Not only did he murder the former Beatle, but he did it to make a name for himself at John's expense.

For the last few years he has been treated for mental illness and now can pay the price for killing Lennon. Chapman has no chance of rehabilitation, parole, or chance in life. He had a clear motive when he killed Lennon.

23. Petition for a Pink Floyd reunion tour

This is a petition that will be signed by fans of Pink Floyd to ask David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Richard Wright to reform for just one last reunion tour. not for the money or the fame - just for the fans and for the love of preforming music.

Pink Floyd are unarguably one of the greatest bands this world has ever seen, their music has touched the lives of millions worldwide, it has given fans hope, understanding and helped some of us through the most toughest times of our lives.

there is no corporate interference or media hype here, just genuine fans who love the music of Pink Floyd.

We strongly urge the band members to think this idea through, as it will bring happiness to so many people more than they will ever know.

Please pass this petition on to everyone you know. If enough people sign it then the more likely the band members will consider the idea.

24. Dune Remake

Come on, you know it'd be good. I'm not saying replace David Lynch's 1984 classic, but that film was weird and changed loads of stuff.

I propose that a NEWER version of 'Dune' with CGI and sh*t should be adapted and be more true to the book because we're ready for it now. Especially because most people I know remember the 1984 film as that camp sci-fi flop with Sting. Drawing Sting away from Dune is a good thing.

Peter Jackson should do it aswell. He did LOTR and that was pretty cool, amirite?

Yeah. Good thing.

25. We want David Cassidy to tour Australia

Who would like David Cassidy to tour oz again?

Well if you want him to tour please sign the petition!

26. Bring Beckham Back

Bring Beckham Back.

27. Get Rid Of Quizmania & Midnight Zoo

August 7, 2006

Night owl TV watchers in Australia are angry at the lack of selection after midnight on all 3 commercial networks in Australia.

The Nine Network started screening a version of Channel Ten's "Up-Late Game Show" called "Quizmania".

A week later Seven started their own version "Midnight Zoo". All these shows are exactly the same.

Where's the variety? Channel 31's Fishcam and SBS's Weatherwatch are more interesting then these quiz, and I use that term lightly, shows.

This petition is the try to get the Nine and Seven Networks in Australia to listen to their viewers and act accordingly.

I sent the petition to Channel's Nine & Seven and got a letter back from Channel 7 on October 5th...

Dear Mr Stancliffe
We received your letter dated 29 September 2006 regarding Midnight Zoo.

The final episode of Midnight Zoo goes to air the morning of October 21 2006. After that time, the Seven Network will again be scheduling normal programming including brand new episodes of The Jury and repeats of series 1 and 2 of Lost.

We hope this provides you with the variety on late night TV that you have been missing.

Channel Nine has lost their deal with CBS and Network Ten has struck a deal with them. The Late Show with David Letterman will move from Nine.

28. Reinstate David Carruthers

July 22, 2006

BetonSports has sacked its chief executive and left him languishing in a US jail. We think this is wrong.

The company terminated his contract and removed him as a director. The company also attempted to distance itself from salacious stories that appeared in The Mail on Sunday over the weekend.

The newspaper claimed that parties held at its Costa Rican base to try and encourage high rollers to spend more cash included the provision of ladies of the night, shipped in from the US.

Demi Moore's husband Aston Kutcher was also said to be involved in parties that "catered for every perversion." Carruthers apparently used to meet and greet guests at these Caligula-inspired soirees.

But hang on. Carruthers has been arrested for executing the business plan of BetonSports - that is to say undertaking online sports betting in the US. Surely therefore his arrest is not for breaching company rules but for implementing them. We think Carruthers has therefore been made a scapegoat by the company.

In executing the stated business plan he is clearly a model employee. BetOnSports should stand by their man, reinstate him and indeed give him a pay rise. If you agree with our campaign to reinstate the BetonSports One, call Kevin Smith at BetOnSports on 00 1 314 623 2734.

Please send Kev the regards of UK-Analyst.

We will forward this petition.

29. Get Rid of Quizmania

July 26, 2006

The latest failure for channel 9 programming has been to get rid of some of our favourite late time tv shows such as enterprise, letterman and replace it with a low baked rip off of Hot Dogs uplate game show, Quizmania.

If you would like to see Quizmania gone off our screens forever to make way for tv shows that dont have a number you can ring in on then sign this petition.

30. John Lennon Tribute for Fair Parole Consideration and Human Rights

December 24, 2005

John Lennon Human Rights Memorial Tribute for Prisoner Rights and fair objective consideration.

Being that one of the few people in the world who has been introduced to John Lennon, and then later also meeting Mark David Chapman, and have had for a long time had a memorial to John Lennon online I have strong interest in anything related to both.

Upon reading the petition to keep Mark David Chapman off of parole, and in prison/s that are called correctional institutions I thought it was bizarre and a travesty that John Lennon's name was invoked in the manner it was against Mark David Chapman, considering that John was such a strong avid believer of civil, human, Native American, and prisoner etc rights.

WHEREAS Imagining John Winston Lennon developing as the rough young man who some would of once considered a roughneck greaser hoodlum punk, into a decent loving husband, peace loving father and enlightened person he was distinguished from the person he was once thought of early in life:

WHEREAS the land of John Lennon's England and Wales, ended capital punishment ended in 1965, has taken a view that differs from the punitive one in America we as enlightening people like Mr. Lennon must consider that in regard to the punishment of Mark David Chapman who had been sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for his murder of John Lennon upon confession to the bizarre crime.

WHEREAS incarceration in the instance of Mark David Chapman's should serve as punishment for some rehabilitative corrective purpose, not a punitive one in retribution that defined ultimately as cruel and unusual punishment that is forbidden under the US constitution prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment.

WHEREAS we take notice that Mr. Lennon of beloved memory had made numerous efforts in support of justice, peace, freedom as a progressive person; and,

WHEREAS, in this instance we would think it is bizarre to have John Lennon remembered as the pretext for reactionary actions that seem to go against everything Mr. Lennon believed; and

WHEREAS, being that already since incarceration December 8, 1980, Mark David Chapman has served twenty-five years, and now has been eligible for parole for approximately five years, and has been turned down twice for parole, we petition as follows:
