1. Mac & Trouble need a Funko POP Figure !!

Everyone loves Funko's POP figures... Marvel, DC, movies and tv, cartoons and anime, sports... they've done it all... well, maybe not ALL.
Funko seems to be lacking in one specific area: SMALL PRESS COMICS. The Independent (or small press) comic market is rarely represented when it comes to merchandising... and this is YOUR chance to voice your opinion to a huge merchandise publisher !
As the owner and creator of "Mac and Trouble", I have tried contacting Funko about POP figures, and have been ignored each time. It's now time for the little guys (or cats in this case) to be heard !!

4. Make Me Wolverine

Hello Superhero Lovers. My name is Steven Incarnato and I am asking for your help in becoming the next Wolverine. Most Superhero fans in the New York Area may have already met me without knowing it.

Every year I go to NYComicCon as our favorite indestructible mutant: Wolverine. Yes the group of people I attend with all dress to the nines in our favorite hero's garb. Out of all of us, I am the one who ends up taking the most pictures with fans. The most common comments I receive are, "I've seen other people dressed as Wolverine but nobody does it like you, You have the right height and you're built."

That's right everyone the most common complaint about Hugh Jackman playing wolverine was that he was too tall. Lets be honest he plays an Amazing Wolverine. But he's 6'2''. That's a remarkable difference from Wolverine who is portrayed as 5'5''. However that 5'5'' is just slightly shorter than myself by 3-4 inches. As far as the look goes, I look like I am a clone of Hugh Jackman who was genetically altered to be the perfect height for the role. As far as the build goes, well, he's not called Huge Jacked-man for nothing.

But I too have a very good muscular build. I have the perfect muscular size to play this part. And after a contract with Fox, I will start an endless effort to make that build even better to perfectly portray my hero. Don't think I have no experience acting either. I've done live performances of many shows in local theaters.

I have the ability not only to convincingly play characters that are realistic, but I have also played characters of pure fantasy in children's theatre. Another reason why a shorter man should play Wolverine stems from a response from Guardians of the Galaxy. Drax wound up getting praised as a hero to certain children who couldn't understand metaphors. This is something that I'm sure nobody intended as they were creating this character but it proves another point.

One of the reasons I idolized Wolverine growing up was because he was so much shorter than every other hero but could always hold his own. Help me to be that relatable hero to children all over the world who are shorter than there peers.

Help me become The Wolverine.

5. Stop Marvel From Changing Thor To A Woman!

This is a petition to stop Marvel from changing the legendary comic book hero Thor Odinson to a women. I totally agree that we need more female superheroes but to change a historical comic book hero that has always been one of the most powerful and devoted to a women who will carry the same name and hammer as Thor is so wrong in so many ways. When you think of Thor you see a tall and muscular man with blond hair. Since the news was heard around the comic book world there has been thousands and thousands of negative comments in reference to the new female Thor.

I believe by signing this petition I believe this could be a small step in showing marvel how disappointed the fans are. Mostly diehard Thor friends. Despite the outcome I will always think as Thor as the mightiest superhero from Asgard and the son of the all mighty all- father Odin.

6. Marvel's The Black Panther Movie

The Black Panther is the ceremonial title given to the chief of the Panther Tribe of the advanced African nation of Wakanda. In addition to ruling the country, he is also chief of its various tribes (collectively referred to as the Wakandas). The Panther habit is a symbol of office (head of state) and is used even during diplomatic missions. The Panther is a hereditary title, but one still must earn it.

In the distant past, a meteorite made of the (fictional) vibration-absorbing mineral vibranium crashed in Wakanda, and was unearthed. Reasoning that outsiders would exploit Wakanda for this valuable resource, the ruler at the time, King T'Chaka, like his father and other Panthers before him, concealed his country from the outside world. T'Chaka's first wife, T'Challa's birth mother N'Yami, died while in labor with T'Challa, so T'Challa would be raised by his father and his father's second wife Ramonda, at least until T'Chaka was murdered by the adventurer Ulysses Klaw. With his people still in danger, a young T'Challa used Klaw's sound weapon on him, gravely injuring him and forcing him to flee. Around the same time, his stepmother Ramonda visited her old home in South Africa. While on this trip she was kidnapped and taken prisoner by Anton Pretorius (T'Challa would not learn of this until years later).

T'Challa was next in line to be the king of Wakanda and Black Panther, but until he was ready to become the leader of the nation, his uncle S'yan, T'Chaka's younger brother, successfully passed the trials to become the Black Panther. While on his Wakandan walkabout rite of passage, T'Challa met and fell in love with apparent orphaned teen Ororo Munroe, who would grow up to become the X-Men member Storm.[26] The two broke off their relationship due to his desire to avenge his father's death and to become the type of man who could suitably lead Wakanda, but they would see each other over the years when they could.

The Black panther is the first African Superhero in American Mainstream Comics and plays a signifcant role in Pop Culture.

7. Getting Talia Al Ghul brought back to the pages of DC comics

Talia al Ghul (Arabic: تاليا الغول‎) is a fictional character in the DC Comics universe, daughter of the supervillain Ra's al Ghul, a love interest of Batman, and the mother of his son Damian Wayne, the fifth Robin. She has appeared in over 200 individual comics issues.

The Talia character was created by writer Dennis O'Neil and artist Bob Brown. The character's creation and depiction was inspired by other works of fiction, such as the 1969 James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and the Fu Manchu fiction. The character first appeared in Detective Comics #411 (May 1971). She is most commonly depicted as a romantic interest for Batman, a villain, or a combination of the two. Her father, the leader of a worldwide criminal empire, considered Batman the man most worthy to marry Talia and become his successor. Absent a spouse, Talia was considered as an heir to her father and his organization. While Batman is uninterested in the criminal empire, he has often demonstrated romantic feelings for Talia.

Talia has saved the life of Batman or helped him on numerous occasions. The majority of her criminal acts have been committed at the behest of her father and motivated by loyalty to her father rather than personal gain. She had been depicted as morally ambiguous or an antiheroic figure. Recent depictions have shown her to be more often an enemy of Batman and a supervillainess in her own right, such as leading the League of Assassins, as part of the Secret Society of Super Villains, and as the mastermind behind Leviathan.

IGN's list of the Top 100 Comic Book Villains of All Time List ranked Talia as #42. She was ranked 25th in Comics Buyer's Guide's "100 Sexiest Women in Comics" list. Talia has been featured in various adaptations in other media, most notably the 2012 Christopher Nolan film, The Dark Knight Rises, where she was portrayed by Marion Cotillard.

8. Unleash Murder Betty!

Lauded comic creator Gail Simone is looking for a new project. She recently posted a series of demented selections from a fictional "Murder Betty" story in which Betty of Archie Comics goes on a merry killing spree on the streets of Riverdale.

We want this released, in the same vein as the officially licensed "Garfield Minus Garfield".

9. Uncancel Hellblazer

Hellblazer is Vertigo's longest ongoing comic book series, lasting for over 25 years. Filled with black magic, demons, and critically acclaimed work.

Unfortunately, the series is apparently going to end by the 300th issue, and DC is going to start a whole new series with Hellblazer's main character, John Constantine, in CONSTANTINE. Knowing DC's current predictability, the new series is going a far less edgy version without the pure grittiness fans love.

If no one signs this petition before February in 2013, fans will be heart-broken and famous or unknown artists and writers won't even have a chance at working on their own published Hellblazer issue.

Hellblazer must live on.

12. Immortal Iron Fist Relaunch

Recently I looked up info on the "Immortal Iron Fist" comic book, and found that for months many fans like me got the run around from all the targets.

I recently found a response sent to a fan from Mr. Duane Swierczynski, saying that the series is done for.

I along with others were deeply upset and stunned by this turn of events. It is because of this that I write this petition.

13. Bring MCM Expo's Cosplay Roadshow to Norwich/Norfolk/East Anglia

There are various anime/manga, videogame, cosplay and media conventions around the country, but nothing substantial in East Anglia.

This petition is to gather support for such an event happening in this region, and also in support of the MCM Expo Group and its events.

The MCM Expo group is willing to bring their recently announced Cosplay Roadshow to this region if enough interest is generated.

This petition also serves as information about the fan base level in the region for other events to hopefully happen as well.

14. Bring back The Mask

If you are reading this it is because you know The Mask was one of the greats non-heroes (or hero in movie and TV show) of story. When the original comics ends in 2000 and then they make the worst sequel of history, it's time to playback!

The new generations deserves to meet the original and uncopied Mask, and how it could happen before to this years? Let's sign to the rise of The Mask; like in the original comics or like in the film or TV show, whatever let's do our best to see new stuff of The Mask. Let's put it in someone face!

15. Bring Hoverboy to the Small Screen

Hoverboy, the very best of the superheroes, has been ignored for to long, okay? Together we will bring him to the TV so that we can watch him all the time and every week.

Why do they drag their feets? Get in the bucket!

16. Bring Scott Ramsoomair to Chicago

Scott Ramsoomair, famed creator of the hit Web-Comic VGCats(c) has never come to Chicago for a convention.

By signing this Petition you encourage him to come to either Anime Central(ACEN) or WizardWorld.

17. Put Mina the Mongoose in new Sonic Games

I think Mina the Mongoose from the Sonic the Hedge Hog comics is an under used character. Mina is one of the FEW Sonic female characters that I don't hate yet hardly anyone knows who she is.

She has a great design and personality. If you think she deserves more attention, and think she should be in new Sonic Games and Shows sign this. ^^

18. Marti Noxon Writes Buffy: Season Eight

Marti Noxon was a driving force behind the last two seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. As an executive producer and writer, she was essential to the television series. We would like Marti Noxon to work on the season eight comics produced by Joss Whedon and Dark Horse.

In an interview dated 6th Feburary 2008, Editor Scott Allie replied in response to a question involving upcoming writers of the series:

"We don't have things nailed down that far out. Most of the twenties are still undetermined, and those are three names (David Fury, Rebecca Rand Kirshner and Marti Noxon) I'd love to see in that mix. I've never done anything with Marti, and would love to. The other two were great to work with.

Marti Noxon has recently left her position as show runner and lead writer of Private Practice (ABC), this could be the perfect opportunity for Marti to contribute a story to the series.

19. Spomen Obiljezje / Karim Zaimovic 1971-1995

Sarajevo, kakvo god bilo, nikad ne smije zaboraviti ljude poput Karima Zaimovica, za kojeg znamo kakav je bio. Sjecajmo se!

20. Keep Marvel Universe Online Up!

As some of you may know, Marvel Studios and Cryptic are currently creating a MMORPG for the PC and next-gen consoles, in which you create your own superhero and interact with Marvel characters like Captain America and events like Civil War.

What some may not know is that these two companies are talking about giving us comic book and videogame fans the shaft by cancelling their project quietly, so that most people won't even notice.

Sign this petition, and we'll show them.

21. Teen Titans movie

Hello, friends. My partner has decided that I should do a movie based on the Teen Titans comic books. He has also told me that the show was unfaithful to the comics (much to the same way as Batman & Robin was to the Batman comics) and that he would be glad to make the movie exactly as it should be.

Which is why on this petition, I will be putting out my script on the forums, and I would have to have everyone rate my work if they like.

22. Marvel Vs. Capcom ( Vs. DC) 3

June 28, 2006

Hello, there! My name is Jason Holmes, and I'm asking for your Support to make an idea I recently had become a reality.

I was thinking, if Capcom is and was still going to make a Marvel Vs. Capcom ( Vs. DC) 3 game, to ask Capcom, DC and Marvel if they could and if they wanted to work together to allow the DC Universe Characters to be playable in MVCVDC3, including Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and many others.

This petition if for Capcom to consider, if it is and was going to still make a third Marvel Vs. Capcom game, to ask DC to join them in allowing the DC Universe Characters to be playable, including Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and others.

I would like to know if Marvel and DC, and you gamers out there, might want this to happen too?

Jason Holmes ( AKA Kronoan).

23. DC Comics to Publish "Dial H For Hero" Graphic Novels

June 23, 2006

Dial H For Hero is a classic series that appeared in House of Mystery during the 1960's. Robby Reed used a magical dial to transform into random superheroes to fight evil.

Given how this idea is still a radical variation for super-heroes, DC Comics should publish it as they do other Silver Age series in their Archives series of graphic novels.

24. Bring back Hypertime in DC Comics!

January 2, 2006

Many fans are gathering together these days to plead with DC Comics to bring back the great concept of Hypertime.

Hypertime is the continual existance of infinate universes and timelines within the comic books. With Hypertime, retcons do not exist, and many authors/artists in the past are honored.

All storylines, plots, timelines, and possibilities can happen in comic books... we just have to let them.

Please, DC Comics, BRING BACK HYPERTIME!

25. Graded Comic Section on eBay

November 13, 2005

I am sick and tired of finding non graded comics mixed with CGC PGX and 3pg.

26. Save 'Ruse'!

CrossGen Comics (www.crossgen.com) recently announced the premature cancellation of several of its titles.

'Ruse' is one of them.

A fabulous and inventive mix of pseudo-Edwardianism, steampunk, fantasy and featuring great art and some wonderful banter between the two leads, Simon Archard and Emma Bishop, this was one of the first comics CrossGen produced.

It still has so many stories to tell, and so many loose ends to tie up. It would be an injustice to let this great publication vanish so soon, after only 26 issues.

If you love 'Ruse', please sign here and help the fans send a message to CG Comics - that Simon and Emma aren't done yet!

(There is also a similar petition run by someone else for 'Solus', here: http://gopetition.com/info.php?petid=3088)

27. Save Solus!

Due to recent financial troubles, CrossGen comics has announced that many of its comics will be cancelled.

Solus is among those on the chopping block.

28. SAVE SIGIL!!!

Sigil (one of the best comics in the whole wide world I might add) is going to end... help me save it! :)

29. Save Meridian!

Due to recent financial troubles, CrossGen comics has announced that many of its comics will be cancelled.

Meridian is among those on the chopping block.
