In July 2018 the Australian Government effectively froze university funding over four years by $2.2billion dollars. This has impacted the education of every student pursuing a degree and formed the basis for stunting the growth of the new sophisticated workforce in coming generations as a result. Our education is precious, it sets us on a path of purpose and productivity. This cut is an unacceptable erosion of our basic right to quality education within a democratic system.
We will not accept the erosion of our education by the government funding freeze, we will vote for the party who unfreezes our education funding when elected.
