Enough studies! Construct new and larger reservoir(s) on the Aberdeen Plateau for years when snow/rainfall is heavy so our beautiful community and properties are sustained in dry years.
We Greater Vernon area taxpayers direct our politicians and bureaucrats to immediately work to increase storage on the Aberdeen Plateau.
New larger reservoir(s), fenced from contamination by wildlife, recreation and other users is OUR priority on the Aberdeen Plateau where weather systems are frequent and often severe. We will not wait for yet another expensive study to be conducted.
To ensure our current and future water supply remains safe, the water intake land immediately surrounding the reservoirs is to be OWNED by the Greater Vernon Water Authority.
Taxpayers of Greater Vernon will protect our property values... today and at the next election
