With constant increases in the rate of accidents caused by fireworks I would like to start this petition to get the Government to increase the age limit for buying fireworks to the age of 21.
Also, I am unable to understand why fireworks have to be on sale for 3 weeks before they are supposed to be let off.
Therefore I would like to add this point to the petition by asking for the law to be changed, so that fireworks are not allowed to be sold so far in advance.
We, the undersigned, call on the British Government to review and change the current laws on the sale of fireworks.
We, the undersigned, ask for the law to be changed so that the minimum age for customers that buy fireworks is increased to 21.
Additonally we, the undersigned, ask for the law to be changed so that the sale of fireworks is not permitted before the 1st of November each year.
