To stop the build of high density motel next to a recreational and bird reserve. This area has already been set aside by council for the direct purpose of encouraging the proliferation of some 18 to 20 different bird breeds also the area is utilized for the direct purpose of public recreation such as a public cycle way and recreational hiking also for the future the park has the potential to be utilized for the construction of a playground suitable for the enjoyment of the youth and families at large.
We, the undersigned, are signing this petition to stop the build of a motel next to a public reserve (Cooney Reserve, Omokoroa).
