ELMBRIDGE COUNCIL ARE PROPOSING A DOG CONTROL ORDER, TO ENSURE ALL DOGS ARE WALKED ON LEADS IN ALL OPEN SPACES AND NO MORE THAN 3 DOGS PER PERSON. THIS INCLUDES PARKS AND WOODS AND COMMON LAND.
This was apparently first discussed at a Cabinet meeting on the 1st April 2009 and we now only have until 30th November 2009 in which to register our complaints.
(We also urge you to log onto www.elmbridge.gov.uk and go to the Dog Control Orders and complete the online questionnaire. You can also write to Elmbridge Council at Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, KT10 9SD or ring the council and ask for a questionnaire to be sent.)
