Scotland has loved curry - our other 'national dish' - for decades but curry houses are in danger of folding, according to restaurant owners.
Home Office rules state that restaurants offering buffet or take-away food cannot hire specialist chefs from outwith the EU, because these categories are not 'fine-dining'. Restaurateurs disagree, arguing the same skill is need to create Asian food regardless of whether it's served up on a plate, or brought to your door.
This petition calls on the UK Government to modify its immigration employment rules, and allow non-EU chefs to work in buffet/take-away establishments.
