West Dunbartonshire
United Kingdom

West Dunbartonshire Youth Trust was funded through the Better Neighbourhood Services Fund to provide young people, aged 12 - 25 years, from the West Dunbartonshire area with the opportunity to make decisions about a Grants Programme for services for young people.

The Grants Programme requires young people to be involved in the decision making of the services and the Youth Trust itself is managed by young people. The aim therefore of the Youth Trust is to support young people to be active citizens in their area, and to encourage services to recognise the importance of including young people in the decisions about their services.

The young people involved in the Youth Trust have been supported to complete qualifications and have received awards and have shown great commitment over the past 3 years.

The West Dunbartonshire Youth Trust is a charity set up to fund young people's projects in West Dunbartonshire and has provided many opportunities for improvement for the life of young people within West Dunbartonshire.

The Youth Trust have also provided training for young people to help them make these decisions and then young people involved have shown great commitment over the last 3 years.

The Youth Trust is under threat of closure so please help support the Youth Trust and help to pressure Community Planning Parthnerships and the Council to support and fund the Youth Trust.
