The state has made drastic budget cuts to New Beginnings. For many years this non-profit organization has counseled, serviced, and treated many young children state wide free of charge.
Many students who have been counseled and through treatment programs have made positive changes, which not only affect the individual but also benefit families, schools and communities.
Without state funding the children of our communities will not be fortunate enough to have the education and guidance that will keep them off drugs and making better choices (prevent trickle down effect for a poverty ridden society).
Since the state is no longer able to contribute to our financial resources, I am imploring you and your company to consider making a tax deductible donation to the New Beginnings Program, or sign to fight to have our funding re instated.
