The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, has today invaded the independent soverign nation of Ukraine and attacking the cities of Kiyv, Odessa and others in the country against any number of laws that exist in the world. Seventy days from now, the Russian Federation delegation will attend the 66th Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Turin, Italy and claim to be part of the European family. This is wrong.
We, the undersigned, call on the European Broadcasting Union to remove the Russian Federation from this years Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Turin, Italy, this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Armenia, and all further Eurovision branded projects until the nation of Ukraine is wholly independent and its 1991 borders re-established.
