I have twins in grade 3 and i have spoken to mom after mom who has tears in her eyes, saying "im not making it!" My kids is over loaded, they hardly have time to play. And moms that work, finds it even worse. Even teachers agree that the curriculum is to heavy for their ages. We need to stand together for the generations to come.
We the undersigned, call on the minister of education to review and eliminate the load of homework and correct the curriculum of CAPS for Pre school children, it is to heavy. Grade R to grade 7 . Our children is only little once, let them be exactly that. Children that has time to play and relax after a 6- 7 hour day of school. Not the stressed out overloaded children we are seeing right now. Please review the curriculum, it is broken! We need a healthy generation not a broken one to lead South Africa.
