This is apetition to the European Union to pass a regulation forcing food manufaturers to label all products as suitable, or unsuitable for vegetarians.
Anyone who is a vegetarian will have at some point struggled to decipher a food product's list of ingredients in order to decide whether, or not, they can eat it.
This task should be made much easier by the addition a simple label stating if the product is suitable, or not, for vegetarians. There is no legitimate reason why this could not be done, so why is it not done?
We, the undersigned, request that the EU pass a regulation forcing all food products to be labeled as suitable, or unsuitable, for vegetarians.
