1. Support Canada's membership into the European Union

The current situation with the US proves that we are too much dependent on our neighbour to the south. Politics under President Trump put's Canada's sovereignty in danger. It is clearly stated 'America First'. We cannot rely solely on the USA anymore as Europe cannot rely on them anymore. This position is also stated by chancellor Ms Angela Merkel in the news after the unsuccessful Meeting of the G7 states. Canada has to find new partners to succeed and survive. It is a very natural move to ask without any further delay for an immediate membership into the European Union. Both sides will gain tremendous benefits from this move.

2. Say yes to peace in Ukraine!

Stop European Parliament from using disinformation and attacking Minsk II agreement

A vast majority of MEPs in the European parliament elected to be responsible for relations to the Ukrainian parliament have used their position to spread disinformation and attack the Minsk II agreement. It is of utmost importance for building peace that different actors do not deny facts on the ground trying to falsely blame the opponent for acts committed by the side in the conflict EU supports. It is also of great importance that diplomatic efforts to end the conflict and human suffering be honoured. The Minsk II agreement is endorsed by the UN Security Council, i.e. at highest possible international level. Attacks against the Minsk II agreement by the vast majority of MEPs given the responsibility for addressing the Ukrainian conflict is unacceptable.

We demand that the constituencies in the European parliament immediately address the concern this creates for EU as a democratic community basing its decision on facts and not disinformation, a community willing to say yes to peace and support diplomatic efforts endorsed by the UN.

Europe needs peace now. The greatest humanitarian catastrophe in Europe which is threatening the health and life of millions of people in Eastern Ukraine must be solved. The way the West says that Russia is the only actor who must follow the Minsk II agreement is creating passivity and prolonged human suffering. On the ground, the Ukrainian forces and the volunteer battalions have advanced in what is labelled as a ”creeping offensive”. This means that the Ukrainian forces are advancing into the grey zone and this is in breach of the Minsk II agreement.

On the ground Ukrainian ultra nationalist also have since January illegally blocked the railway transport between Ukraine and Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics in order to totally break the economies of Donbass and Ukraine apart. This economic blockade is in breach of the Minsk II agreement and a threat to the economy of both the Ukraine and DPR and LPR who are tied together by treade iun cola and ore for power stations and steel mills. President Poroshenko strongly oppose the illegal blockade but cannot force the ultranationalist to follow the law.

During a session in the European Parliament on the 14th of February 2017, the situation was presented in an erroneous way by Anna Maria Corozza Bildt, Jacek Saryusz-Wolski, Rebecca Harms, Dariusz Rosati, Sandra Kalniete, and several others in the European Parliament’s Ukraine delegation. They explicitly tried to undermine the Minsk II agreement by using false statements about the ongoing escalation of the conflict to avoid criticism against the aggressor that currently is Ukraine. A country responsible for a creeping offensive unable or not willing any longer to maintain law and order and thus letting ultra nationalists enforce an economic blockader against the Minsk II agreement.

3. Save Loghman and Zanyar Moradi

The Iranian regime is continuing its unjust and unprecedented crime against Kurdish political Activists and ready to yet commit another crime!

Zaniar Moradi and Loghman Moradi, both death row prisoners from Iran’s Kurdish minority, claim they were tortured into “confessing” to the 2009 murder of the son of a senior cleric in Marivan, Kurdistan province. They were sentenced to death in December 2010 after being convicted of “enmity against God” (moharebeh) and “corruption on earth” for the murder. They were also convicted of participating in armed activities with Komala, a Kurdish opposition group, which conducted armed struggle against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

After recent execution of - Habibollah Golparipour and Reza Ismaeili - the regime now punished Zanyar Moradi and Loghman Moradi with death sentences issued in public hanging!

This surge in executions shows that behind words and promises, the Iranian authorities continue to rely on state-sponsored killing, sparking fears that Zaniar Moradi and Loghman Moradi, two Kurdish minority prisoners on death row, could be next,” said Hassiba Hadj Sahraoui, Middle East and North Africa Deputy Director at Amnesty International, she said October 28, 2013.

4. HALT The Execution of Iranian Kurdish Political Prisoner Bakhtiar Memari

A local source told the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran that Bakhtiar Memari, 35, a Marivan Kurdish citizen, who has been in prison since August 2010, is on death row on charges of "moharebeh (enmity with God) through membership in a Kurdish political party." Memari was officially informed of his sentence inside Sanandaj Prison on May 10, 2012.

According to the human rights source, security forces arrested Bakhtiar Memarimon on August 3, 2010 in Marivan and transferred him to the Sanandaj Intelligence Office. He was interrogated under torture for three weeks during which he was not allowed to visit or call his family.

In Bakhtiar Memari's defense bill, a copy of which the Campaign has been able to see, it is reflected that the court has not presented any evidence for Memari's accusations and that the ruling was entirely based on Bakhtiar Memari's confessions, which Memari said in court were extracted from him under pressure and through brutal beating and injuries by his interrogators. Bakhtiar Memari repeatedly denied his charges during the trial process.

A source close to the family of Bakhtiar Memari has stated that Bakhtiar Memari has been additionally accused of murdering two individuals based on orders from a British intelligence organization, charges which Memari repeatedly denied in court. The court has not produced any evidence, witnesses, or weapons that could substantiate or support these accusations, solely basing the charges on Bakhtiar Memari's confessions extracted under duress, which were videotaped and broadcasted on PressTV.

"After about three months, Sanandaj Intelligence Office forces took a handcuffed and footcuffed Bakhtiar Memari, along with a camera crew, to his father's home, where he was allowed to visit with his wife and children. The forces then said that because this was his last visit with his family. The intelligence forces then took Memari to the homes of two Krudish citizens who had been murdered some time before, introduced him as their murderer, and videotaped the visit. Subsequently, PressTV aired the recording in its Iran Today segment. In January 2012, Bakhtiar Memari was additionally sentenced to death for murder, based on Qisas Law."

Bakhtiar Memari is currently on death row inside Sanandaj Central Prison. He is allowed to visit with his family once a month.

Meanwhile, more than 27 Sunni Kurd prisoners are on the death row on the charge of Moharebeh, propaganda against the regime and acting against national security in Rajai Shahr prison as the reports mentioned. Six Kurdish political prisoners were hanged at dawn on March 4, 2015.

WHEREAS: Bakhtiar Memari is a political prisoner who could be executed by hanging at any time based on completely politicized charges;

AND WHEREAS: The United Nations and human rights organizations around the world have condemned the tidal wave of hangings which has been occurring regularly for years in Iran as well as the complete lack of respect for due process and international norms governing the use of the death penalty, and on that basis, have called for a moratorium on executions in Iran;

AND WHEREAS: There is a terrible trend in Iran of hanging Kurdish activists on trumped up charges, after interrogations involving severe torture and trials which do not meed international standards of jurisprudence;

THEREFORE: We, the undersigned demand that the international community ACT URGENTLY to seek a halt to any plans for the execution of Iranian Kurdish political prisoner Bakhtiar Memari, and a thorough review of his case based on internationally-recognized standards of justice.

5. Jewish Prayer on the Temple Mount Now!

Last week UNESCO held a truly infamous vote to de-Judaize Jerusalem and the Temple Mount and was quickly condemned by Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu by declaring UNESCO “The theater of the absurd”.

The truth is that the State of Israel set the stage for this vote long ago via its anti-Jewish policy on the Temple Mount. Jews who come to visit the Mount are harassed and Jews who are found praying or worshiping are arrested.

Should UNESCO and other international organizations be held to a higher standard than the Israeli Government?

6. ITV, Please bring back Spitting Image

It's about time that Spitting Image was brought back to our screens by ITV.

Please sign this petition to ask ITV to consider a topical series! At this historic moment in time, our Political friends are in the limelight, and we ALL need some light relief from the Brexit pain!

7. Pledge 2 Boycott - companies leaving the UK

Since the UK referendum on the 23rd of June 2016 and number of international, global or even British companies have suggested that they might abandon the UK.

This could have massively detrimental effects on our economy just when we need all the help that we can get. We might want to remember their lack of loyalty when they want to return when it doesn't work out.

These companies are from a variety of sectors including manufacturing, financial and transport businesses. They will potentially disregard job losses nationally.

They don't consider the costs that they could face if we as consumers stopped using them. They might live to regret it if the European Economy collapses as we emerge as a leading economy.

They consider that they will face additional costs due the so called 'Brexit'. Together we can let them know that they also face massive costs if they dessert us.

Together we can pledge to boycott them now and in the future. We can refuse to buy their products and use their services. We can remember that when they want to come back to us, that they stabbed us in the back!

8. Remain out of the EU. 17 million voted out.

This is a petition to counter a second EU referendum.

We voted leave..... and that's that.

9. DO NOT have an EU refurendum Re-vote

Our country voted to leave the EU. 48% voted to stay and 52% voted to leave therefore we should not have a revote as in my opinion the country has spoken and we SHOULD now leave the EU.

To allow a second vote would go against the point of the vote in the first place.

10. No to 2nd EU Referendum - STICK TO THE WINNING RESULT

We recently voted to leave the EU.

This was a fair vote and the outcome should be treated with respect.

If you didn't vote when you had the opportunity, that isn't anybody's problem. There was the opportunity to vote via post if you were too busy to get down to the polling station.

Saying that the vote was unfair on the younger generation as 75% voted to remain isn't a good enough response, what about the 15% that wanted to leave? Also, these figures are not correct. The vote is anonymous.

Signing the petition for a re-vote will only strike up anger within UK and this will be an endless battle of petitions and re-votes no matter what the outcome.

11. Say NO to a second referendum on leaving the EU

In recent events the United Kingdom chose to leave the EU in a referendum won by brexit. The winning margin was 4%. Leavers took 52% of the vote while remainers took 48%.

Remainers have now created a petition to implement a rule stating that there should be a 2nd referendum held in the circumstance where there is less then a 60%/40% winning vote based on a vote turnout of less than a 75%. So far they have surpassed the 100,000 signatures needed to be debated and taken seriously.

I am therefore creating this petition to say NO to a second referendum should they succeed. The people of the United Kingdom have spoken and our decision should be respected. If you voted leave sign this petition.

I was unable to vote in the EU referendum because I am 17, not 18.

Nonetheless, I don’t understand why my peers and I, the future of this country shouldn’t be deciding on said future. I don’t believe it’s fair and I am absolutely shocked at the turnout this referendum has received. The people who have voted clearly hold a grudge against the government, something that we, as the young representatives of the country, aren’t exposed to. In fact, the 18-24 age group voted at 64% supporting remain, and so would have the rest of us, if we were allowed to share our belief. And by the way the average number of years that the 18-24 age group would have to live in this non EU UK is 69 compared to the 16 years the 65+ age group, that voted at 58% in favour of leave, would have to stick around for.

At schools we are educated in a way that let’s us determine and decide on our own political views. From the age of 13 we are able to make decisions, as we select GCSEs that define our future as members of the community, yet we cannot decide on the future of the country we will continue living in. At 16 we make an even bigger decision as our A level choices are determined, yet still, we cannot vote. And at 17 when we choose our degree and apply for university, still, you guessed it, we cannot vote. Each person votes for their own belief so who’s voting in terms of education and young peoples rights? We should be, as it is our concern. The vote was split by just a little over a million, but there are over 6 million of us who didn’t get to choose, and out of the entire population we will be the most affected by this change. We are the future university goers and we are the future workforce, how are we different to any adult, when most don’t even have A level qualifications. We are an ambitious and passionate generation and we will not stand for the changes made against our will.

My peers and I are strongly remain and as we watched the turnout, the night of the 23rd of June, we were saddened by the result and angry to see how little influence we had over the decision.

So I blame the government, I don’t blame the EU or the people, because the government is there to do its job, and that is to convince the general public to decide on what is better for them and that goal hasn’t been achieved, in fact the remain campaign seemed so confident in its victory that it was much weaker than that of leave. It must have been anticipated that the community supporting leave would do so, with much more enthusiasm and much more spirit. Change is more exciting and people supporting it are more excited than those who simply want things as they are. So I believe the remain campaign should have been much stronger, especially since we have the higher ground.

I have no idea how, in this day of technology, travel and constant import and export as well as a generally volatile economy in this part of the world, Britain will survive without the EU or how in fact the EU will survive without Britain. The elderly who are supporting the way Britain was previous to 1974 aren’t reflecting on how the world has changed since then. The pound has fallen lower than it’s been ever since 1985, so even the financial crash of 2008 didn’t affect our currency this significantly.

The United Kingdom has just regained confidence in Scotland’s loyalty to Britain after the Scottish Independence referendum in 2014. And now Scotland is once again questioning their position within the UK that has been in place since 1707. So the government is not doing such a great job keeping the nation together, which at this tough moment, I believe must be the priority.

I am writing on behalf of my generation and we need for our young voices to be heard, now!

13. Push for the creation of a Multinational Peacekeeping Humanitarian Task Force to stop ISIS and provide aid to Iraq and Syria

The self-proclaimed caliphate of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant or ISIL, also known as ISIS, is a malevolent, well-armed group of extremists responsible for killing over 1,700 people in 23 countries, not counting the higher death toll in Iraq and Syria or the millions forced to flee their country.

All nations must work together toward lasting peace and bringing an effective end to this global calamity. Therefore, the formation of a multinational peacekeeping humanitarian ground force is called for under the terms of Chapter VII of the United Nations charter.

This contingent shall fulfill solely the purpose of dismantling ISIS and providing much needed aid to civilians in conflict-stricken Iraq and Syria, with strict adherence to international law and the directives of the UN Security Council.

You may also sign the petition at the White House web page.

14. A voice for UK citizens living in the EU

Why don't over 2 million British Citizens have the right to vote in the forthcoming UK referendum on membership of the European Union?

We are fed up with the rhetoric coming out of the mouths of people like Boris Johnson and Michael Gove and also the British media, mainly the written press, about how bad Europe has been for the United Kingdom.

Ex-pats should join together and voice their opinions on how bad it would be for them if the UK should decide to leave the EU.

15. White Rose of Athens

Two crises are being played out in this confrontation between the Troika (comprising EU, ECB, and IMF) and the Greek government. The crises are different aspects of the same coin.

One issue is economic and is central to the neo-liberal strategy of austerity. It can be summarised as: fiscal policy has to follow the rules and debt has to be serviced. This regime wants economic policies to follow strict rules because it distrusts democratic decision-making.

The second issue is that all attempts at dissidence must be suppressed to ensure that a flawed Euro-zone system is implemented without question.

The Troika fears that political and financial contagion will mutually reinforce one another in the medium term as more questions are asked bout the legitimacy of the so-called bail-out programme. It is wrong to ask Greece to commit itself to a continuation of the previous programme that has demonstrably failed. It has been rejected by the Greek electorate. Large numbers of economists worldwide believe that the programme was misguided from the start.

The Truth Commission on the Greek Debt, a citizen initiative with the support of the Greek Parliament, in a recent report provides evidence that the debt demanded today from Greece is “illegitimate, unsustainable, illegal, and odious”. Almost none of the huge amount of money loaned to Greece has actually gone there. It has been channeled back to pay private-sector creditors - including French and German Banks.

The bail-out was not directed to save Greece, but to off-load the exposure of French and German banks onto all the European states. The programme was implemented against the advice of the IMF’s own staff. The Greek people believe that the bill for this debt must eventually be laid at the doorstep of the French and German banks; until then the people of Greece have the right to refuse to pay that debt.

16. Protect Small Businesses from new VAT rules on Digital Products

From 1 January 2015, EU VAT has to be charged in the country where products are bought, not the country where they are sold.

The legislation applies to digital products such as e-books, music, online courses or downloads. Every business, even those who sell just £1 worth of digital products to the EU, is required to register for VAT.

17. In Out Referendum on the EU Now

Whether you wish to remain apart of the European union or not, this issue has become so important that it can no longer be left to an election result to decided if the people of Britain have a say in it.

Please sign it and show our government that we need a referendum on the in out question before the next general election, allowing the people to better decided who they want to lead us.

18. A Scottish Referendum on EU Membership

Many Scots will turn up to vote in the Referendum and vote to decide Scotland's future.

It is right and proper that we should also all be consulted about our Nation's future as either:

1) An Independent Sovereign State, fully capable of making our own decisions.

2) A vassal state, a subservient partner, who has surrendered our sovereign liberty by joining the European Union, who will decide our fate!

The EU has a scandalous record, and they override the wishes of nation states, to impose their damaging and irrelevant elitist agenda.

The EU decides our minimum wage. It is no better than slavery!

Civil justice and human rights violations have become worryingly commonplace!

19. Stop Killing Dolphins in Faroe Islands in Denmark

You might have wondered why the waters in Faroe Islands in Denmark is red. Is it because the water color changes naturally? Is there any chemical effect on this change? So, what is it?

This is a mass killing; absolute inhumane activities; by people in Faroe Islands in Denmark. This cruel action by so called civilized results in stabbing and killing hundreds of the intelligent Calderon Dolphins. This Act happens every year in Faroe Island in Denmark.

The participants in this uncivilized slaughter are young teens. The teens are encouraged to stab, cut, and kill as many dolphins as possible.

20. Stop Spanish Government undermining our right to Freedom of Movement

This petition has been put together by a group of concerned citizens of the European Union in response to the Spanish Government's continued attempts to hinder people's right to freedom of movement.

21. Stop EU Plant Variety Agency

The European Commission is changing the European Union’s plant legislation, apparently to enhance food safety across the continent.

This move has sparked a heavy opposition from many, saying that the measure will threaten seed diversity and favour large agrochemical businesses. This new law creates new powers to classify and regulate all plant life anywhere in Europe. -The “Plant Reproductive Material Law” regulates all plants. It contains restrictions on vegetables and woodland trees, as well as all other plants of any species. It will be illegal to grow, reproduce, or trade any vegetable seed or tree that has not been been tested and approved by the government, more specifically the “EU Plant Variety Agency.”

This agency will be responsible for making a list of approved plants and an annual fee must also be forwarded to the agency if growers would like to keep what they grow on the list - See more at:

22. Ukrainian People Want Association!

On November 21, 2013 Viktor Yanukovych has declared that he want to postpone the Euro integration of Ukraine.

This was something that the Ukrainian people has been waiting for a long time and was looking forward to.

23. No to Palestine!

24. Extend Discretionary Leave to Remain for Glendon Llewellyn Lloyd

We came to the UK from Australia for a family holiday in July 2004. I fell in love with UK and decided I wanted to stay (many asked WHY !!)

My loving wife and children Eddie, Ben and Lucy are English, I am Australian (a Commonwealth county)
I made the mistake of not lodging a formal application to stay immediately I fell in love (but then who says I love you straight away!) although I had discussed with the UKBA my desire to stay and how to best go about this - I was born under a British and Colonies passport in Rhodesia (aka Zimbabwe). Following lengthy discussions I lodged an acceptable application in July 2006.

3 years of being stateless (unable to work and support my family, paid for and missed 3 family holidays) I was finally granted Discretionary Leave to Remain in July 2009.

I willingly give (and love) the 10-12 hours a week I give to my local community coaching youth rugby and football teams and acting as business manager for a local rugby club. My businesses export on behalf of the UK and pay £10's of £1,000's in VAT.

Learned my lesson and lodged my extension to remain for the next 3 years within specific, stipulated guidelines on the 15th June 2012.

Booked (and paid for) what will be our first holiday in years and am now fighting to get my visa ratified in time to allow me to go with my family.

They are telling me to wait 6 months before even contacting them to discuss it........?

Please help me!

25. Suspend TPPA and EU-Malaysia FTA talks

The Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement is a free trade agreement under negotiation among nine countries, including the US and Malaysia.

The problem is the agreement deals with other non-trade issues, like investor rights, which affect how foreign companies do business, and patent rights, which affect access to affordable medicines. To make matters worse, the agreement is being negotiated in secrecy. And the countries hope to sign the agreement by the end of the year.

The EU-Malaysia Free Trade Agreement is another free trade agreement being negotiated between Malaysia and the 27 member states of the European Union. Similar to the TPPA, there are elements in the agreement that governs patent rights, which could harm access to cheap medicines. Although the negotiations are top secret as well, we are already seeing the destructive effects of such an agreement in India.

For more information, go to

The magnificent evergreen forest on Mt. Zlatibor is letting go under strikes of chainsaws and heavy machinery.

With pine trees taller than 15 meters and older than 70 years, stretching over 500 acres of forest land it is a predominantly influential Nature Park and self preserving ecosystem on Zlatibor.

Planted immediately upon the end of the Second World War it bore status of protected natural wealth and had become a habitat to numerous animal and plant species.

Today it's a host to a large number of families of squirrels and rabbits, also turtles, moles, hedgehogs, ant colonies, lizard dens and various birds such are robins, woodpeckers, ouzels, owls, wild pigeons, magpies, etc.

Abusing state's law regulations on environmental protection and disregarding obligatory acts of Aarhus Convention the local authorities issued The General Plan according to which the Nature Park is turned into zone of tourism and high commerce.

WARNING: The Nature Park is undergoing heavy deforestation and soil devastation by local Zlatibor authorities and Serbian Orthodox Church. Biodiversity is threatened with extinction as workers and machinery plow through in preparation to build communication and drainage network.

28. I'm an animal loving tourist - I think?

Did you know that before and after the European tourist season, governments clean the streets from cats and dogs in, for example: Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Turkey?

Many animals are poisoned and die a very painful death, others are beaten to death, or hanged and strangled. Many are hit by cars and left to die.

Some end up in horrible captivity where life is frightening and tormenting, and many die of disease or starvation. Enclosures in these countries are hot in summer and cold in winter. The animals die from heat stroke or freeze to death. The country and the business sector does not want that these animals disturb the good impression of their country and affect tourism negatively.

None of these countries have made efforts to curb the stray animal population by neutering campaigns, or information about neutering to the public. Instead, these countries chose to poison or otherwise get rid of their abandoned, unwanted companion animals. Never or rarely do they punish someone for abuse or murder of animals. These countries are making a strict difference between an animal with an owner and an abandoned animal. In these countries, an abandoned animal can be treated as badly as you like and in many eyes they are seen as unwanted debris that disrupts the community.

Some of these countries still enjoy the torture of bulls during bullfights and have a variety of traditions in which animals are involved and tormented. In all these countries, dogs are used for hunting. These dogs are treated very badly and starvation to death is common between the hunting seasons. They are often killed or abandoned after a bad game.

29. China says ready to help solve EU crisis - NO thanks!

BEIJING - 14 February 2012 - EU meeting with China in Beijing.

China's Premier Wen Jiabao said China wanted to see Europe -- its biggest trading partner -- "maintain stability and prosperity", a day after ratings agency Moody's downgraded Italy, Spain and Portugal.

The two sides also agreed during the talks to give fresh impetus to Beijing's efforts to attain full market economy status (MES) for China in the European Union, according to a joint communique issued after the summit.

"China is ready to increase its participation in resolving the EU debt problems," the Chinese premier told journalists after meeting EU president Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso.

China was considering using Europe's bail-out funds to help address the continent's fiscal woes, Wen added, without elaborating further on how the Asian power might be prepared to contribute.

"China will continue to fully meet its World Trade Organization commitments," he said. "It will continue to expand market access."

//In this case we have the spotlight on China as it concerns a political position. The petition says that we European citizens do not want to increase our trade with China. We want instead to an end. We want to INCREASE the embargo against China.

This is to force China to adjust its animal welfare. This is only possible through the economic force of China, to institute laws prohibiting Chinese to torment, torturing and skinning animals alive. Some Chinese people seem completely brainwashed to carry out these atrocities.

We know there are good people in China who are fighting for the animals and there are those we sustain through this petition. For animal friends there are no borders.//

30. Change our constitution

We the people of Ireland have stood by long enough as the EU dictates how we live our life, We the people demand you change our constitution so we can vote on every issue the EU tries to legislate in Ireland as we are noticing our sovereignty slipping away from us, Well we want it back.

The banking bailout and the recession that followed including the IMF bailout to the people should have been voted on by the people.
