Word has reached us that Oshawa City Council is working behind the scenes to stop the construction of the proposed 4 ice pad North Oshawa Recreation Facility slated to open in December 2004.
We need your help to be heard. Please sign out on-line petition or look for the paper copy at an Oshawa arena near you. These ice pads are need more than ever. Remember 2003 is a municipal election year and your vote counts. Please Sign the Petition.
TO THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCILLORS OF THE CITY OF OSHAWA. WE THE UNDERSIGNED PETITION YOU TO FOLLOW THE RESOLUTION THAT WAS VOTED ON, PASSED AND APPROVED BY YOU TO BUILD A 4 ICE PAD COMPLEX AT THE NEW NORTH OSHAWA RECREATION COMPLEX AND TO HAVE IT COMPLETED AS APPROVED IN DECEMBER 2004.
