On December 16th, 1773, The Sons of Liberty dumped crates of tea into the Boston Harbor, as a direct protest by the colonists of America, against the government of Britain.
This is one of the most iconic events in American history, and was one of the catalysts to The Revolutionary War.
We, the undersigned, ask of the U.S. government, to recognize Boston Tea Party Day annually on, December 16th, the day the event occurred.
