Improve Kingston Road Recreation Ground playground and sports facilities

In recent years the recreation ground has been neglected by the local council and its facilities have been allowed to deteriorate to the detriment of this amenity to the local community. As the "Friends of Kingston Road Recreation Ground" we would like to see substantial improvements to the children's playground and the provisioning of other sporting and recreational facilities.

We understand that the Council will assist in obtaining grants from the relevant organisations and will provide matched funding if there is sufficient interest shown by the local community. Funding organisations also expect there to be evidence of demand by the local community for the intended use of grants. By signing this petition you will enable us to demonstrate to council and the appropriate funding bodies that there is sufficient demand for the improvements we are seeking.
