We ,the undersigned, asking for the Philippine Bureau of Immigration to allow our Filipino Citizens immediate family member (Spouses or common-law partners, Dependent children, Grandchildren, Parents or step-parents , Guardians or tutors) with visitor's visa to travel to Canada in any purpose if they have documents to use as proof that they're an immediate family member and followed all airline requirements and pass a health check conducted by airline officials to confirm that they don’t have symptoms of COVID-19, including a fever, a cough and difficulty breathing , whether they are Alone or with PR or Canadian Citizen Immediate Family Member. Because, The Canadian Government already allowed them to enter in Canada and clearly stated these : (1)"An immediate family member of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who is staying in Canada for at least 15 days is exempt and can travel to Canada for any purpose." (2) IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER "DO NOT" need a written authorization from IRCC confirming that they are exempt from the travel restrictions" .
But, here in the Philippines, before they can fly, Philippine Bureau of Immigration asking for a "letter" that says the traveller is exempted to the restriction, which it wont be possible yo get because it is already clear to Canada.ca website under "Travel restrictions and exemptions" that it's not applicable with their status because "EXEMPTION LETTER" is ONLY for "IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER WHO IS TEMPORARILY RESIDES IN CANADA". Our loved ones never get a chance to fly if the requirement or letter they are asking is not really needed.
We really need to be heard by Philippine Bureau of Immigration,so our immediate family member can give consideration, like OFW and student visa. Their flight is very essential as well because we want to reunite with them. Please make time to review our concern and give us hope to be with our family. Thank you so much and Godbless!
