Many towns in the United States are strongly segregated by race and economic background, especially in Michigan, Arizona, New York, and more.

Many times two towns next to each other are very diverse in ethnicity, race, and economic background. Our American youth are not being prepared for the globalized world that is already at their fingertips.

We the undersigned believe that communities building new schools should build them on town lines in order for children to be exposed to various economic background and ethnicities/races.

Schools that are already built who have over 90% of one race should be mandated to integrate and bring in students of various academic abilities (including gifted) or the other option should be for them to be mandated to teach a multicultural curriculum throughout the school year.

This in conclusion will aid our American future in promoting more kindness and understanding, as racism and lack of knowledge of other cultures is a serious problem.
