Halifax Rugby League is a Club with over 100 years of rich history and in the coming months we will fight for our entry back into the game's elite league, The Engage Super League.
We are the reigning Co-operative Champions, have a fantastic stadium and a growing support. We think we deserve to be back in the Big Time.
Will you help us show the RFL that we are ready?
We are aiming to gather as many names as we can and show the RFL we deserve our franchise. Please help us do this!
We, the undersigned, call for the RFL to to promote Halifax Rugby League into the Engage Super League.
Three years we were turned down due to an incomplete stadium and insufficient youth set up. In the time since then:
- We have become the Co-operative Champions
- Become the most consistent team in our division
- Now play in a completed stadium for for Super League
- Have reinstated our academy team
- Improved our community structure
- Raised attendances
- Become financially stable and one of the few Clubs who creates a yearly profit.
- Improved marketing communications with our growing supporters
- Have a sponsorship portfolio that is envied by Clubs throughout the leagues
As you can see, we have created a very impressive bid and feel it is the right time to return to the top flight!
