Since the Internet is becoming more dominate in the classroom, students are forced to buy access codes to get information, grades, homework, and messages sent to them from their teachers.
With the money spent toward education, these extra features should be given to students.
Students and their parents are paying so much for education, why should they pay extra for codes that give students access to information that should be paid for already?
These codes should also be free for online classes that students are obligated to take for online courses.
