Sarah Wright had been the education director for Mobile Symphony Orchestra for 9 years. The MSO education program has been nationally recognized for its excellence. The board of directors has fired her without giving a reason. Because of this she has no way to defend herself. She can't even say, "I didn't do that."
Beyond doing great work Sarah also set a positive example for the kids with her attitude toward her work and her community.

With Sarah Wright as education director, the Mobile Symphony Orchestra was chosen by the League of American Orchestras to be 1 of 2 orchestras awarded the 2007 Bank of America Award for Excellence in Orchestra Education; the award was given for orchestra education programs within elementary schools.
Also with Sarah Wright as education director, the Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra was 1 of 2 American youth orchestras chosen to participate in Midori's Orchestra Residency Program, 2009.
The young people positively influenced by her work provide hundreds of reasons to bring Sarah back.
