Dear Clark Freeport Stakeholders,

Season Greetings!

In line with the on-going “Tabang Visayas” (Help Visayas) donation campaign of Clark Development Corporation employees, CDC is proposing a Clark wide donation campaign to help the victims of the recent typhoon “Sendong”.

Initially, an activity proposed to raise funds simultaneously and on a one-time basis is the “Human Chain” at the Parade Grounds with a minimum registration/donation fee of P100 for those who can attend. For those who may not be permitted to leave their work, they may donate to their respective HRD’s any amount.

The “Human Chain” will symbolically represent the unity of Clark Locators and Workers in offering a helping hand for our brethren in Visayas and Mindanao.

The proposed fund raising campaign is tentatively scheduled on December 28, 2011 and seeks to tap the cooperation of the more than Sixty Thousand (60,000) Clark workers. We are also in discussion with the Provincial Government of Pampanga to bring the Giant Christmas Lanterns in Clark in support of this event.

DO WE REALLY NEED *TWO* NEW HOSPITALS WITHIN A MILE OF EACH OTHER ON THE SHILOH/O'FALLON I-64 CORRIDOR??? Belleville Memorial is already building a 2nd Campus in Shiloh, see here: http://www.bizjournals.com/stlouis/news/2011/04/01/memorial-plans-118-million-hospital.html

Original Text of background of this petition posted 9/28/11:
The City of O'Fallon Planning Commission is conducting a public hearing on October 11, 2011 at 6:00pm to review a recently filed Petition to re-designate our neighborhood to be part of a "Medical Campus Sub-Area Plan" in a proposed Amendment to the City's 2006 Comprehensive Plan.

This petition goes along with St. Elizabeth's Hospital's petition to re-zone the adjoining 108.79 vacant farm acres to the east and south of our neighborhood in preparation of constructing a new hospital and medical office complex.

WHAT THIS MEANS TO YOU: OUR PROPERTY IS *CURRENTLY* DESIGNATED BY THE CITY FOR A CURRENT & FUTURE LAND USE OF "NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTIAL." Our neighborhood has been a residential neighborhood for over 100 years.

IF THE CITY PASSES THIS AMENDMENT, THE PROPERTY THAT CONTAINS YOUR HOME MIGHT BE RE-LABELED FOR "REGIONAL COMMERCIAL."

But WORSE, imagine being forced from your home in a few years WITHOUT CHOICE, being paid a "fair" market value-- as decided by someone else-- then seeing your house Bull-dozed in the name of Economic Development.

It's called Eminent Domain.... and re-designating our homes' land under the city's Comprehensive Plan *could* be the first step towards it.

6. Minecraft Griefer War of 2011

Hello, fellow Minecraft players!

We would like to bring to your attention the increasing pandemic of griefer attacks. According to the Minecraft Wiki, "Griefing is the act of ruining large or very noticeable portions of other people's creations on a multiplayer Creative or Survival server. It is frowned upon by the majority of Minecraft users because it ruins many hours of work and makes maps untidy. In best case scenarios, the griefer is quickly removed from the server and their damage is trivial to repair. At worst, griefing can destroy an entire server if it does not have backups available."

They have destroyed many of our precious creations in SMP, and desecrated thousands upon thousands of servers. Therefore, we have started the Minecraft Griefer War of 2011. Our goal is to ban as many griefers as possible, and make sure they do not return to ruin our creations. We wish to destroy this pandemic that has been plaguing the Minecraft world since multiplayer servers ever existed. We wish not to destroy other people's creations, to not taint their beautiful work, and to punish those who dare destroy, and have destroyed the precious things we have built.

If you wish to see a griefer in action without destroying any of your creations, go to this video:

7. Improve health and health care in British Columbia

Among these provisions is the need for action on primary health care across Canada, including increased access to Community Health Centres in British Columbia and across Canada.

14. Expand Access to Community Health Centres Now!

Join the call for a health care solution!

Ontario’s Community Health Centres (CHCs) and Aboriginal Health Access Centres (AHACs) -- similar health centres that are focused on health and health care for Aboriginal community members -- are among the greatest success stories of our provincial health system.

CHCs and AHACs are the only primary health care model that combines team-based primary care delivered by physicians, nurses, dietitians, counselors and other providers, with health promotion and community development services.

They are also unique because they focus on the "social determinants of health", acting as leaders in tackling the root causes of illness, and working to keep individuals, families and communities healthy in the first place.

Unfortunately, only 4 percent of Ontarians currently have access to a Community Health Centre or an Aboriginal Health Access Centre. An expansion of access to CHCs and AHACs in Ontario will mean accessible, high-quality, preventive health care for more Ontarians. It will also result in healthier communities and a more effective and sustainable provincial health system for all Ontarians!

15. Australian People Demand an Early Election

This Labor government is dead in the water. It has lost its way… yet again. Its incompetence and arrogance has led it to be effectively at war with Australia. Its call to class warfare and attempts to divide and conquer Australians in order to enforce incompetent policies have failed.

Citizens, businesses and whole industries are now in unprecedented open revolt against its insane carbon tax, its brainless spendthrift programs and disastrous refugee policies. Labor now trashes our economy and neighbours with one bizarre political quick fix after another. Worst of all, it has no idea how to regroup and get back to governing and has no answers other than to pathologically project all its failings onto Tony Abbott. It no longer listens to it’s citizens and we no longer listen to it. It is now incapable of learning, condemned to repeat their bungling from East Timor to Malaysia, from roof insulation to TV set top boxes.

For it’s own sake and that of Australia, Labor needs to be removed from government and be allowed to disassemble and be reborn again. After all, it is not in our interest for Labor to self-destruct – we need two healthy and vibrant, competing political parties.

16. Free Ogaden in 2011

2011 is the year of revolutions. The year of the people. The world is uniting against oppression. South Sudan got their independence and other countries are getting rid of their dictators this year.

Now more than ever, is the perfect time to get rid of the dictator Meles Zenawi and grant true independence and freedom for the Ogaden. We cannot let this year pass us without having Justice for the Ogaden region. Let us free the Ogaden in 2011 too.

From January 9-15 2011, people from South Sudan voted on whether they should break away from Sudan and declare independence. On 30 January 2011, the results had shown that 98.83% of the population had voted for independence from Sudan. So they were granted independence.

It is time to let the people of Ogaden vote and decide if they want to break away from Ethiopia and declare independence too.The people of the Ogaden deserve to decide and vote peacefully for their freedom and true independence. Sign this petition if you think a referendum on independence for the Ogaden should be scheduled to be held sometime in 2011 too.

26. AFLQ State Association Div 2 - Increase Rounds From 18 to A Minimum Of 20 in Season 2011!

AFL Queensland has decided to continue with an 11 team competition in State Association Division 2 for Season 2011. Whilst the roster is yet to be released, it will no doubt be the same as season 2010 where each club will have 2 byes (and miss out on much needed revenue from home games) and only play a total of 16 home and away games during the usual 18 round season.

This is a petition for AFL Queensland to increase the rounds from 18 to a minimum of 20 so that players, supporters and officials can enjoy at least 18 games per club!

27. Hire Robert Palm as ''Law and Order: SVU'' Showrunner/Executive Producer and Renew ''Law and Order: SVU'' for a 13th Season

http://www.tvguide.com/News/Baer-Leaving-SVU-1026073.aspx

Current "Law & Order: SVU" showrunner/executive producer Neal Baer has announced that he's departing SVU (and NBC) to pursue a career with CBS Studios; at the end of the 12th season of "Law & Order: SVU". Baer has been executive producer since season 2 of SVU.

Which means "Law & Order: SVU" is going to be looking for a showrunner. Why not call Robert Palm back, the FIRST SVU executive producer (season 1). The first season of SVU was one of many execellent seasons of the show.

And we expect NBC to continue "SVU" beyond season 12; despite Baer's departure. We don't want it rushed to cancellation like the original "Law & Order".

28. Law & Order: Criminal Intent/Law & Order: Los Angeles two-hour crossover

"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" will return for it's final season in early 2011. The show hasn't done a crossover type episode since the first season.

For the final season (since Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe have returned for their previous roles as Det. Goren and Eames) a two-hour crossover episode between "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and newest welcomed "Law & Order"; "Law & Order: Los Angeles" needs to come into effect!

Plus it'd be a nice opportunity for the fans and actors Vincent D'Onofrio and Skeet Ulrich ("The Newton Boys") to be together on screen again.
