The citizens who eventually have to be guided by the new charter have been relegated to the pathetic role of observers in a process where they are supposed to be actively participating in.

After consultations nationwide and all the information provided, it should not be a political party thing to decide on the laws that will govern our motherland.

Can we take more than three years to write a constitution? Are we not capable of writing a constitution? Are Zimbabweans happy with what is happening?

We the undersigned call on the three political parties (ZANU(PF), MDC-T & MDC) and the Government of Zimbabwe to facilitate a referendum before the end of October 2012.
