In November 2010 I was told on two occasions to remove my Poppy whilst at work as it was not part of my Uniform.
I initially refused and tried to sort the issue within the company but with no response the media were notified and my story hit the National newspapers and was aired on both BBC & ITV and also on radio five live and local stations.
I would kindly ask you to sign this petition so we can influence the Government to address this issue. It is my aim to encourage a policy to be put in place so this situation doesn't happen again to others in the future.
Enabling employees to wear a Poppy at work if they wish to, considering it's reasonable and practical to do so and doesn't create a health & safety risk.
