Ikea is located down at Logan which from Caboolture is a 72 km journey. People from the Sunshine Coast would not travel the 133 km or 1 hour 49 minute drive to go to Ikea. But if an Ikea was built near Caboolture, all of the North side of Brisbane and people from the Sunshine Coast could use this Ikea.
Do you like shopping at Ikea?
Wouldn't it be great to just go down the road and shop at local branch instead of travelling all the way down to Logan which is approximately 72 km and would take an 1 hr 20 mins to get there from Caboolture.
If we put an Ikea on the Northside of Brisbane near Caboolture, then all the Sunshine Coast people could travel down as well. If you want to see Ikea come to the Northside of Brisbane, sign this petition and see if we can persuade them to build a store. http://www.ikea.com/
It would mean more jobs for this area and that is a positive.
