Jallikattu is our traditional and cultural event, we having this sport for many many years (estimated 1500 years old).
This event not just for fun, our ancestors made those sort of events as culture to take care specific cattle breeds. As everyone know, now those specific breeds (in southern part of India) produce A2 milk.
Jallikattu makes those bulls fit and healthy not just for event even to keep those species in our land.
We appreciate to make some procedure to safeguard those animals (medical examination, safety for human who is in the field etc), but it is totally unfair to saying stop to such traditional event.
We need Jallikattu back, we all support Jallikattu.
We need Jallikatt.
We the undersigned ask the Indian government to consider and bring back Jallikattu (South Indian traditional and cultural event).
