Pakistan Government, through the President,recently issued an Ordinance, the national Reconciliation Ordinance whereby cases pending in courts against various politicians are proposed to be withdrawn and concernedbpoliticians granted amnesty.
The matter has aroused disgust amongst many Pakistanis and several petitions, seeking annulment of the said Ordinance, have been filed in the Paistan Supreme Court. The Court has accepted these petitions and will soon commence hearing thereon.
The purpose of this petition is to collect signatures of all those who wish to vote against the said Ordinance.
The Supreme Court will soon start hearing Petitions against the National Reconciliation Ordinance.
We request the Court to consider us as Parties to the Petitions seeking ab initio annulment of the NRO.
