We, the undersigned, hereby petition Premier Dalton McGuinty to give jurisdiction to the Ontario Ombudsman to investigate complaints in all key areas of the private sector: Boards of Education, Child Protection Services, Public Hospitals, Nursing Home Homes and Long-Term Care Facilities, Municipalities, Police Complaints, and Universities. It is time for accountability to take place in Ontario.
Failing to give our Ombudsman jurisdiction, is failing all Ontario citizens.
