Back in 2015, our Canadian Liberal Federal government made a pledge during the election campaign to end all long term water advisories on Indian reserves by 2021 to aid the ongoing water-issues, yet a substantial amount of them still do not have clean water, or have not had the funds or proper training and monitoring to ensure that their problems can be reliably resolved. There has been very little progress with solving these ongoing water-issues and not enough attention and dedication has been made to bring these problems to light.
We, the undersigned, call on the Federal Government of Canada to increase funding to permanently end long-term water advisories on all Indian Reserves.
