Mediacom currently does not provide suspended service. For instance, if one decides to go out of town for an extended period of time, he or she must pay for the service whether or not it is being used.
The only thing they offer is a cancellation (along with the cancellation contract fee) and a reactivation (along with the reactivation fee) which is more than if it wasn't canceled at all.
No one should be forced to pay for an unused service. Mediacom should put in their contract that the service can be suspended anytime within the year [every year] up to a certain period of time (2 months).
