The Support the Library Bond Referendum Coalition was formed by private citizens and members of the libraries' Friends groups to garner support for the upcoming referendum vote on Nov. 2 (and in early voting prior to that date). We believe that the Central Library and Clemmons and Kernersville branches are in disrepair and overcrowded, and need to be replaced or substantially renovated.

We also believe that there are a number of additional branches in the Forsyth County Library system (that are also included in the referendum) that need repairs and renovations as well.

We, the undersigned, believe that now is the time to replace or substantially renovate the Central, Clemmons, and Kernersville Library branches and to perform the additional repairs called for in the referendum.

We further want to send the message that the education of our citizens is of paramount importance to our communities. Therefore we, the signees hereto, support the upcoming Library Bond Referendum, and encourage all voters to vote YES, whether that be on the Nov. 2 ,2010 General Election ballot, or prior to that day during the early voting period. Please keep in mind that signing this petition is NOT in any way an actual vote for the referendum. Voting can only be done during early voting ( at which time you can actually register as well) which begins on Oct. 14th, 2010 and on General Election Day Nov. 2 ,2010.

Please refer to the Forsyth County Board of Elections website at www.fcvotes.com or call 336 703 2800 with any further questions.
