I know his mom and dad they go to church everytime the door opens. His mom and dad have 7 kids there is Becky and Jeff, Tim and Ricky, Keiven and Brandan,and my husband to be Doug. His mom and dad is betty and horce. His mom and dad lost there house in a fire and they did'nt have enough funds to build a new home. Before they lost there house there son Keiven passed away. He was 7 when he passed away i have never met him. i heard alot of good things about him. His mom used to work at the hospital she was a nurse and she loved helping people. She started to have health problems and the doctor put her on Oxygen for her. His dad use to pick cotton for a living to help out with the funds. His dad started to have health problems with his heart and also put him on oxygen. When they lost there house the kids were liviing there with them and his mom was at work that night and the kids were at home with there dad. And everyone was in bed Doug was younger when this happened, Doug was asleep when he started to smell smoke and he went to go tell his dad that the house was on fire and his dad told him to go get the other kids and to get out of the house. His mom heard the fire call at work and found out that it was her house and she went home. There naughbors seen the fire and tryed to help them. The fire department got there and tryed to save there house. His mom and dad and the other kids stayed at there naughbors until they found something to build there house. His mom stoped working after that when she started to have health problems. There naughbors got together and they found some siding wood and some small pole from a broken bridge. They started to build there house and they did'nt put any dry wall inside or any of that stuff that you put inside the wall to keep the house warm. His dad had to put there own sepic tank in and there own water tank in. His mom and dad work hard on what they could find on short funds and im trying to get a makeover for them for there house. This family has work hard in there live. The kids are much older now and have there own home and have kids of there own now. Thing are getting bad sense they have built there house there is only two rooms in the house. and there is no hearter in there they only have 2 small gas hearts to keep them warm. His mom now works with animals and she has over 80 dogs over the years sence she stoped working at the hospital. She sells the puppies to people from Texas and Arkansas and sometimes she finds dogs that people just drop off on the road where she lives and she takes them and takes care of them until she finds a better home for them. she has been having problems now that she is getting older so she had her older daughter come and live with her and her daughter has two kids there is Ben and Kelsey she shares a room with her daughter and her son sleeps on the couch. There house has broken windows inside and they have to put a blanket over the window. Things are getting bad and his mom and dad are not doing so good. This family has help with there community. When the hurricane katrina damage Lousana there were three buses that came threw the town that had 10000 of people and they stayed at there church. His mom cooked for everyone and brought it to the church for everyone. she loves helping people i think thats were Doug gets it from. When that fire happend when he was younger he could'nt help his mom and dad. He now works at the Wildlife fire department at the Gray back forstery department. He has been working there for 8 years now. Last year when California was on fire he was there helping everyone with there home. He told me he loves helping people with there homes. His dad is not doing so good and i hope to god that his mom and dad get to meet there grandson. When i met his mom and dad i did'nt know that i was going to have a baby and i started to have problems so his mom took me to the hospital and i found out that i was going to have a baby. well when they told me the doctor said some bad news that if i came in two months before that they would have taken the baby out. I found out that i was 3 months and they told me that i had a blood clot between me and the baby. The doctor put me on bed rest. I stayed at his mom and dad house until i was 7 months and i went home. I had the baby at full term and he was 9 pounds and i had to have surgery and i had problems after i had the baby. The baby is now walking around. His name is Michael. Dougs mom and dad never got to see him. And i hopeing that they get there makeover and maybe i can surprise them with me being there with there grandson. Please help me make this happen. This means so much to me to help his mom and dad with there new home. There home right now looks like a shack and thats no way for them to live.
