Recycling is important to protect our environment from becoming polluted and filled with toxic waste.
Recycling is key to keeping our air clean, and reducing greenhouse gases.
We, the undersigned, formally request that federal and local governments create financial incentives for people who recycle and carpool.
This would involve small financial rebates for recycling paper, plastic, glass, and other recyclable household items. Also, larger incentives for companies that dispose of significant waste to find ways to recycle their byproducts.
A formal rebate program is necessary to motivate large scale change and protect our environment.
