HCR 140 creates a DUI task force to examine the DUI system. It seeks to streamline the DUI process, thereby cutting cost to the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Throughout this process, the task force will ensure that the program offers DUI offenders resources for dealing with their illness.
We, the undersigned, support HCR 140. We recognize the far-reaching effects of alcoholism as well as the impact alcoholism has on our community. We support the effort of HCR 140 to cut cost to the Commonwealth of Kentucky by streamlining the DUI process.
