The Animal Outreach of Shelby County is a great idea and program in theory, and does help some animals but due to negligence on the administrator part it also does harm too many animals, which complaints go largely ignored by city officials.
That the purpose of this petition to raise awareness hopefully to the City officials of Shelbyville to investigate and evaluate the problems and if needed for the best interest of both the animals and those who donate money to the group to have the best possible person running the group even if that means the forced resignation of the current administrator.

The City of Shelby County Board of Works approved a deal with Animal outreach last July 2015 in a meeting, giving approval to Animal Outreach to conduct a Trap program for strays, so the City does have some say and need to act on these concerns that many have brought up before but largely been ignored.
The current administrator of Animal Outreach also has a history known to many to talk down on the local Shelby County Animal Shelter depicting them in a unprofessional way and degrading the good work the shelter does.
Even just recently a poor cat that was alive and had a chance at life was ultimately denied that chance to live, due to negligence when the cat was trapped in a trap the organization provided. The cat sat in it for days only to die due to the organization not picking the cat up, even though notified as soon as it was trapped. The messages to pick it up was ignored for no good reason by the organization.
There also been reports of cats dying due to the wrong type of medicine being dispense to the animals. All these factors are situations that could have been avoided and the animals saved.
So if you love animals and want them to have a fair chance at a good long healthy life, then I urge you to sign this petition to show the city of Shelbyville City Council that you want this matter to finally be properly investigated and looked into.
