The new owners of the Farquhar's Dairy creamery are planning to demolish this historical building which was erected in the late 1800's.
This building is no doubt a wonderful example of the early development of this industry on Manitoulin Island and should be granted historical/heritage status and should not be demolished.
We would be losing an incredible example of Manitoulin's incredibly rich history. Don't let this building be demolished. Sign the petition.
We, the undersigned, demand that the 'Farquhar's Dairies' creamery be recognized as a historical/heritage building and that it NOT be demolished.
