Tesco are intending to open a store in the heart of Mirfield. This will destroy local business, be environmentally unfriendly & result in small local shops being forced to close.
Mirfield has more than enough food stores and does not need outsiders trying to rip people off for their profit with no consideration for the local community.
There will also be a knock on effect of having yet another late night shop selling alcohol, something that Mirfield does not need. WE HAVE ENOUGH FOOD MARKETS.
Please help show Tesco that we don't need them. They constantly say every little helps, well in this case it's true, every little signature will help show our councillors & MP that the people of Mirfield do not want Tesco in Mirfield. Please sign & tell others about it.
