KILMORE is a regional area, famous for its Racing Fraternity and Horse population.
$ Millions are spent on Fireworks in Australia every year in the name of Entertainment, at What cost?
Pollution, Environmental destruction, for a few minutes of AWW that was pretty. Was it!. Teach children to respect the Environment, not abuse it, disregard it, destroy it. Lets have Kilmore be the first town in Australia to say NO, we don;t want to support the abuse of our environment.
Fireworks can send a frightened horse galloping for its life through Fences and sometimes onto major roads causing further injury to animals & people.
Animals are abused and traumatized.
Horses are injured and killed because of fireworks, are too their foals.
Native wildlife are displaced, dogs are terrorized and People are driven to distraction trying to help their frightened animals.
