Censorship of one is not censorship of all. Distractions exist regardless of the precautions, and students should be able to focus well enough to read a board regardless of the words on a t-shirt.
If a homosexually "explicit" shirt is much less explicit than many other shirts, then all distracting materials should be censored, including, but not excluded to materials which speak of religion, sexual orientation, personal preferances, and all else that voices any type of opinion.
Censorship is ridiculous and strips us of our indidviduality and humanity.
We are not robots. Individuality is life. The word lesbian is not sexualy explicit.
