Thanks for the signature. I wrote this while thinking about Hollywood but it isn't really relevant because obesity is one of America's biggest problems so I closed it down.
I don't like the "anorexic culture" Hollywood, modeling mags, and Olympic gymnastics keep pushing. This obsession with who ever is the skinniest including the worship of Paris Hilton and Megan Fox is not only unwarranted but stupid.
I keep seeing women with legs and arms like twigs, with no butt or hips at all, ribs sticking out, and they think are becoming exactly what most men want because they have no fat on them.
Which is only true for a small percentage of vain idiots, and they aren't the people one should be looking for approval from.
As you know women are susceptible to social pressures that the media pushes and that is why some have to battle anorexia and bulimia. Which is not only unhealthy, but potentially deadly and gross.
It seems to me like there is a battle of the anorexic culture pushed by the media and the obesity culture pushed by the fast food industry.
Can't we find a happy medium in this country?
