We, the undersigned SSM SLUH RNs, strongly support our union, NNOC, and demand SSM SLUH respect our rights, immediately stop their efforts to bust our union, and conform to Catholic teachings that support workers’ rights to unionize.
We believe nurses and other healthcare workers, as patient advocates, have a right and duty to advocate for our patients to improve patient care at our hospital.
SLUH administration has consistently lowered patient care standards across SSM generally and has worse outcomes than other health organizations in the STL metro area. Our patients deserve a higher standard of care!
