This petition is for the School Lane Charter School Community. Our goal is to implement term limits for our board of Trustees and to give all members of the School Lane Charter School community the right to vote for board members.
Dear Board of Trustees of SLCS,
We, the undersigned, will accept nothing other than the institution of acceptable term limits in School Lane Charter School's bylaws, effective immediately. Nor will we allow those board members whose terms are up in June to serve another term. Being that Ginette Isenberg's and Ed Bradley's terms are up, we are calling for them to step down. If they refuse to do so, we will hold the remaining board accountable to take action and to call for their resignation. With the inception of the new bylaws and with term limits in place, we then expect the board's full cooperation in changing our non-membership charter school to a membership charter school -- giving parents the voice that they were promised when this charter school was just an idea.
