Firstly, my dissappointment that other West Coast Eagles supporters have a lack of faith in the clubs new players and direction for the future.
Petitioning to get the player back, who was largely responsible for the unwanted and mostly negative attention to the club, I find to be detrimental to the club's vision for the future and disrespectful to all our current players.
Understanding what we as supporters have had to endure by consistent negative off field behaviour & media attention, has resulted in watching a respected club, players and supporters alike, becoming a laughing stock within the football community.
This petition is in opposition to “Reinstate Ben Cousins to the West Coast Eagles”

Believes our premiership coach strives to lead our new team to another premiership in the future.
Believes that our current captain and senior players strive to lead our new team to another premiership in the future.
Believes in the potential of our new breed of midfielders
Believes that Matt Priddis, a 2006 Sandover medallist, Tyson Stenglein a former Adelaide Crow player, (who was touted as a future captain of their club), and Adam Selwood, a player who leads by such a quality example, that he even has a behaviour clause in his contract, are more than good enough leaders to help lead our new breed of midfielders into the future.
Believes that Michael Voss, three-time premiership captain and Brownlow medallist, will strive to coach, develop, teach and inspire our new midfielders to become the best footballers that they can be.
Believes that Peter Sumich, our seven-time club leading goal kicker, is going to only enhance our forward line skills, knowledge and success when given the reins to coach our forward line.
To all West Coast Eagles supports our there, believe in what our club represents and strives to be, have faith in those who lead our club, and finally embrace and support our young team to lead us into a successful future.
